Hi
Does anyone know if you can buy mulberry bags anywhere?
Especially outlet prices?

Sorry for bumping this thread, but I would also like to know if there is an outlet in Orlando that sells these bags. I am trying to find certain shops for my GF so I can convince her to visit Disney again and not NYC. Any help would be great :goodvibes

There appears to be no specific stores for Mulberry in the Orlando area but there website does say sold at selected stores in the following department store - Neiman Marcus, Barneys, Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom. I know Mall at Millenia has several of these stores and they are more than likely to stock Mulberry.

That's great Claire, thanks for the speedy reply. I will try and check those out online and perhaps ring them and see if they stock what she is looking for. I think if I can find somewhere that sells Juicy Couture as well as Macy's and Bloomingdale's then I am going back to Orlando for sure :cool1:

One thing you may want to think about is that European designers are mostly the same price in the US as in Europe. I wanted either a Louis Vuitton or a Chanel bag last time I was there and they were exactly the same cost as in Europe as I'd already looked. Have fun shopping.

I see you are my guardian angel this morning, thanks alot for all of these! I think the burden of organising everything and finding out all the info rests on my shoulders if she decided to go this year.

I had a feeling this was the case. Would you know if this is also the same for New York City? She wants to go shopping at Mulberry and Chanel but if the prices are actually cheaper in NYC then it would probably mean me having to take a trip over there instead. I know for us right now its almost two dollars for the pound so I am hoping that she could at least save some money buying in Orlando.

I remember going to the premium outlets in September 07 and I bought 13 t=shirts, 1 CK jacket and 2 pairs of CK jeans for £80. I am not big on shopping which is why I am trying to get her to visit Orlando again. That way she can shop as well as have fun in the sun :cool1:

DH has always found Lacoste to be a bit cheaper in Orlando than the UK even if paying full price. Don't forget at Macy's there is the 11% International Tourist discount card for any purchase :)

Is that something you have to sign up for in store or is it just given to you whenever you buy something? I guess they will want some form of I.D to show your from the UK or similar?

Also, I have read that the Millenia Mall is not as cost effective as people expect it to be. What I am hoping you might know is basically is it actually cheaper in that mall to buy her jogging suit or w/e in Juicy Couture than it is over here?

Go to customer services in Macy's and just show driving licence. Sorry not too sure on costs of individual items or about JC as I never shop there, but I am sure prices in Orlando would be same as NY or maybe a little bit less, depends on the tax.

Well that is what I was saying to her but I need to confirm that as some posts on these boards have stated that the Millenia Mall has the same prices as Europe which to her will defeat the point of going. We both love Disney but I think she is unsure of going because we went in September. Like I said though, if I can at least show the shops she wants to go to NYC for are within easy driving distance of the resorts then I dont think it will be a problem. Thanks for all the info you gave though, will be a massive help.

My daughter bought 2 t-shirts and a hooded top in the Juicy Couture store in Mall of Millenia last year and it was around $65 for a t-shirt. I'm not sure how much the t-shirts are in this country but I'm sure you could find out & compare the prices. I can't remember the prices of the jogging suits but they were expensive.

We then found a Juicy Couture outlet store in the Ellenton mall(Bradenton near Tampa) and the prices were so much cheaper. T-shirts were around $25 or so and the jogging suits would have been much less as well. She was so annoyed that she'd spent all her money in the full price store and had very little left to spend in the outlet.

We also saw a t-shirt in the outlet store reduced and it was still full price in the Mall of Millenia when we were there 10 days before so the stock must move fast.

Hmm I don't think she will want to go that far. So the Millenia Mall is probably full price and not the best place to shop for designer labels at a discount. That's a shame.

Looks like Orlando Prime Outlets (http://www.primeoutlets.com/defstorelist.asp?cntrId=&brandId=1349&brandName=Juicy+Couture) now have a Juicy Couture Outlet :)

Awesome, thanks for finding that Claire. I really do like the premium outlets as they are great for tourists to pick up some bargains. So if the prime outlet is anything like that then great. I think if she can live without going to the Millenia then it should be ok.

Be aware that the link I gave is for Prime Outlets which is where Belz used to be Premium Outlets are south of that nearer to WDW, even so it is only a matter of about 7 miles or so difference, plus Prime Outlets is very close to Universal.

Prime Outlets should soon be fully open and when we went there in October it was looking very good.

That is fine, doesn't bother me a bit :goodvibes Think she is going to give me a list of stores and I will have to find most of them. Think she is just toying with me now:rolleyes1
