What is the earliest time you can board the ship?

It varies between 12:00 and 1:00. The "official" boarding time is 1:00, but it usually ends up being around 12:15.

Does it take a long time to check in before boarding? We are staying at the Radissen the night before and I am just wondering what shuttle it's best to take.

The terminal does not open until 10:30, so there is really no need to get there earlier than that.

On one of our trips where we flew in the night before and took Happy Limo from the MCO Amerisuites on the morning of the cruise, we got to the port a little before 11. There was a sign that check-in did not begin until 11, but one window was actually open. There wasn't a line because hardly anyone had arrived yet. I just waited for the Castaway Club check-in line to open at 11, and hubby took advantage of the time to take photos of the virtually deserted terminal.
