Hello talented DISers!

I wanted to get customized T shirts (well, polo shirts) for our group of 7 for our trip. My thought was to have the fronts be different for each of us, with our favorite character on the top left (where a pocket would be), and our name underneath that. So that would be 7 different designs. Then, on the back, have something screen printed like a Cinderella castle or something else that screams Disney, and "Our Big Disney Vacation--November 2007".

I checked quite a few online custom t-shirt places, and all the character designs I like, either they don't have, or they don't come on t-shirts.

So, I know I can do my own, but HOW?????? I have very little craft and creative ability, but I can follow simple directions (LOL!) I did find images on Google for each of the characters I need (ranging from the classics (Minnie and Goofy) to the obscure (Pumbaa and Timon).)

Also, anyone know of a good place to get inexpensive polo shirts? I'd prefer light grey, and I need sizes from kids large to adult 4X.

Thanks!!!

You will need iron on transfer paper. Look for "darK' fabric transfer paper as they colors tend to come out brighter.

I think AC Moore is carrying polo shirts now but you could also find them at WalMart or Target. Online is always a good option for the range of sizes you need.

Check out the DISign thread at the top for tips on making shirts as well!

Good luck:thumbsup2

Thanks Cissy! I'll check out those tips, and it looks like I'll be heading to AC Moore today!
