LOL Gatordad!

Yes - when you're in a thread, click on the " mark at the bottom of every post you want to quote. The " mark will turn orange on each of them. Then, after you pick all the ones you want, just hit "Quote" like usual, but this time all the quotes will show up!

Did that make sense? You can try it here to see if it works.

Thanks. That is cool. I have wondered that too.

As soon as I saw the thread title I started that song in my head. :cool1:

I still didn't get it to work :sad2:

1- I highlighted the sentence I wanted to quote
2- clicked the " button and the button turned orange
3- then I highlighted another sentence and clicked " and this time the button turned back to gray
4- then I hit "quote" as usual and the whole post was quoted.

What did I do wrong ?? I must be having a blonde moment :lmao:

Ok...I think I have it now. The problem was I was trying to do multi quotes from the same person's post...not different people. Stacktester did a long trip report and I wanted to comment on a few of his sentences without having to quote the WHOLE thing. That is what made me ask in the first place. So there isn't a way to multiquote the SAME post, right ?? :confused3

Just quote his whole post, then go back and delete the lines you don't want! :)

You can't link to a file directly on your computer. (What would people do when your computer was turned off?) You have to put it up on the internet first so that everyone else can see it. There's a few places that can host images for you: flickr.com or imageshack.us are a couple that come to mind immediately. Imageshack also helps out by providing thumbnails that let you link to a larger picture.

Sorry - this one slipped right by me!

Yes, that's the way it works with your signature -- post directly from your computer file.

But, for a picture within a post, you have to point to it someplace on the Web. :)
