Can you pay for a vacation with cash?
I just got rid of the balances on my credit cards...yay...
I kept only one with a 1000.00 limit for emergencies only.
So can you pay with cash at a travel agency?

I am in the same boat you are.. what I do is prepay my Amex and then 2 days later I call down and apply that amount to my balance, or I use my paypal card which is sales from my ebay stuff and it is only the amount of credit that is in my account so more like a debit card.
Hope this helps I have never used a TA so I can not answer that but I am sure someone else can.

Last year i paid for my wdw vacation with my $ 500 TD VISA I just over payed by the amount of the trip called TD VISA and they increased my limit by the amount of the overpayment but only for 48 hrs then it went back down to $ 500 don't know about cash or a travel agent as i have never used those

Yes, you can pay a travel agency with cash, I do it every year.
Just make sure you get your receipt and read the receipt to make sure it is right, with all the information on it.

i would suggest putting the money on your credit card as a balance credit, then pay.
