On Saturday, I had to run out to JoAnns. I asked DH if he wanted to come, and he begged off. So I said, "I'd have to buy myself something to fill the void of loneliness." So I went to Recollections, which are all closing at the end of the year/early '08, BTW, but I don't know who else has one close to them.
Anyway, I bought some Stickles. I got Frosted Lace, Candy Cane and Gold for some Christmas projects. And I really liked the Frosted Lace on the snowflakes.
I know some of you use them, so which colors do you use the most?

I love my red and gold..
I also got some great glitter glues that puff right up too..they are great... :) I just through the box away so I don't remember which brand..but I've gotten rave reviews from friends who have seen them used... :)
I do need to get some more stickles.. I outlined the letter "D" for the paper bag albums I'm doing and it really makes the letter pop off the page!!! ;)

I only have the clear one so far.
It is what I used on the Halloween paper in the Surprise Swap.

I am Stickle obsessed! I use the Frosted Lace or the Diamond quite a bit. I also use Fruit Punch way more than I ever imagined. It goes well with pink or orange. I bought both the Christmas Red and Holly recently and really like how they look. Have fun!

I like Icicle. I got that one for some of my Titanic pages. Icicle . . . Iceberg . . . ;) :lmao: My sister and I got a black one and a red one, but I haven't used those yet. I think we also have a pink and an aqua color. I need some more Icicle. I'm running low .

A stickle is a type of glitter glue for scrapbooking.
I use my black and diamond more than others but I generally get them for a specific project to start and then have them to use for other things. I got black and orange to use on tigger for my paper bag albums and then I got some more because I enjoyed using it.

So far I haven't been able to find it in a store around here. :( I'm like rlovew, in that I like to get things like that for a specific project - so ordering online isn't really what I want to do. I want to see the colors, you know?
Po3 - From seeing it used (SusieStone used it in the Newbie MK swap) it appears to have a much finer nozzle than the glitter glue I have. That's one of the main reasons I've been looking for it...that and the colors are much more diverse than the meager offerings of glitter glue I've seen here.

The nozzle is really fine, so its easy to use on small details and doesn't blob like the kids versions. And it comes in about a million colours - some lovely ones, subtle shades not just red, gold etc. It still takes a LONG time to dry though, so don't do it at the last minute;)

It's made by Ranger. I used it in one of Tim Holtz's classes at CKU (Memories Under Glass) and now have a bunch of them. LOVE it!

I love these. I use them all the time. I started out with liquid glass from ctmh and then progressed to stickle.

I love, love, love stickles! I currently have 18 colors and keep getting more! I always buy them through http://www.frugalities.com They have their daily price war and I've gotten them as much as 49% off (shipping can be a little high, but it's still the cheapest way to go).
