How early to reserve preferred site - Memorial Day weekend

Hi all - I hope you can help me with a pressing concern of mine (that I seem to be the only one in my family that has). We are going for a big family trip over Memorial Day weekend 2008, extending a few days both prior to and after that weekend, and my parents plan to camp at FW. They definitely want a preferred site with full hook up, possibly a pet loop. Because of my aggravating siblings, we have not yet nailed down the exact dates and no one has made any reservations yet. I am beginning to get very worried that all the preferred loops will fill up. Does anyone know about how far in advance those loops fill up? Are we already sunk?

They fill up very fast, I would make reservations as soon as possible. I think its 500 days out. Christmas 08 seems to be filled up with some site opening up now so you can see how hard it is. They will be cancellations as always but you have to keep calling. Remember a lot of local campers will be going around holidays.
