I just received my confimation email and it says self parking costs $12.00 per night. I have never paid for parking at a Disney resort. Universal resorts don't offer free parking for thir guests?

That's the one draw back while staying in a Universal Resort.I tryed many times to get it waived but only one time they did because of my room screw up problems.They say Disney charges you without telling you in the room price but I don't believe that.I know that the HRH made the small lot that was the valet lot the self parking so it can be a pain to find a spot when it's busy.valet I think is 2 dollars more so take your pick.All loews resorts charge you to park and I think it stinks big time.

What resort are you booked in? I like the Hard Rock over the others because of location and atmosphere

Valet is $18/day. We did it just b/c it's so convenient.

Yeah, same here. I just added it to the price of the room, (in my mind), and forgot about it. The extra $6 + tip is worth not having the hassle of finding a spot when busy.

universal charges $12 a day, and people keep complaining that they do not pay at Disney, but the difference in price, compared to paying for a luxury resort at Disney Universal is still cheaper,.Try booking a Disney Luxury resort in Summer for about $220, think you would need to add quite a few $$ on to it

Yes, we weren't happy about it either. We were told that Loew's has to pay Universal for the parking, just like you were parking in a Universal lot. :snooty: Wonder if they charge it if you don't have a car?

We did get it removed the first year the RP was open, because there was no parking! DH went to the front desk and told them if he had to pay for parking there better be some. When we checked out they had removed the parking charges.

I wish they would just add it into the room rate, then I wouldn't know about it!
