We have a family group of 11 (includes 2 toddlers) going on the Magic in June. We really want to be seated together without other guests being added to our table. Right now, Disney is telling us that we have to split up. What should we do or who should we contact, and when, to have the best chance of sitting together. Can we solve once on the ship? We are DVC members, DC members and Castaway Club members.....but none of that seems to matter! Any ideas on how to pull this off??

We had a group of 11 on our Wonder cruise in Nov. The first night we were seated at separate, but next to each other tables (4 at 1 table, 7 at the other). We just informed our servers that we were together and the next night they seated us at 1 table. We had 8 adults, 2 children, 1 toddler. It didn't seem to be a problem to them.

Last Nov we had a group 9 and were able to sit together. There were three separate families and before the cruise we linked our reservation numbers together for dining. DCL took care of us. So you might give DCL a call and link the reservation numbers. Hope this helps.

TeamMouse,
We're going in May, 4 families a total of 14 of us, we are all linked and like you Disney told us we'd be near each other but not seated together. Well hopefully they can put us all together once onboard. I'll let u know when we get home.

We had 11 with us. First dinner we had two tables. We informed our servers and the next dinner we had a big table. It was great because I think it's easier for them to serve a bigger table instead of seperate ones.

We were a family reunion of 19 on the Magic last Christmas and although we did not all sit at one table we were together each night at 3 tables. We had our own dedicated servers (yes, Tom and Darko were ours exclusively!) and switched dining partners each night. Darko was able to keep our drink orders together by family - not a problem. Our reservations were all linked togehter.

We all had an awesome time together - enjoy your cruise!

Last Oct. I linked the reservations of 6 families which I met on this board. Disney had 1 table set up for 13 people, 1 table for 4, and 1 large round table for 6. All the tables were placed very close together so we all felt like we were still one group. We were set up like that in every dinner room.
Gather everyones reservation numbers and call Disney Cruise Line or if your using a Travel Agents call them with the other reservation numbers and have them link you with Disney.

Have a great cruise.:)

On the 1/26 cruise, we linked our reservations for our party of 11 (actually 3 different families), and had no problems being seated together. We were at table #23, which is actually a table for 14. See if you can request this table #....

Redpants, Thanks for the tip, I will absolutely ask about table #23. Maybe, they'd do it ... It would be nice.

we always have a big group (20-30 or so) and we link the reservation numbers. Last March Disney didnt have us all together on the first night but we went to guest relations on board and the next night we were all together in 2 tables right next to each other. it was nice because we had one set up as a kids table and the other for the grown ups.

worked out great! :)
