has anyone stayed at Value Place?

My parents are thinking about staying there in January and I can't find any reviews of it online. Anyone have any knowledge of the one in Orlando?

They are an extended stay hotel that rents by the week. They have very reasonable rates. They went to see one close to their home in Oklahoma, but I was hoping someone had stayed at the one in Orlando or at least knows something of the area.

Their addy is valueplace.com. They look pretty basic but the price is unbelievable. I'm hoping someone has some experience with them.

This resort is 35-45 minutes from all WDW destinations.

I think I'd stay away. The random dates I pulled rates on were $31/nt for a weeklong stay. It's easily a half hour away from anything you'd want to see (Disney, etc.). Add in the fuel cost to get anywhere.

If it were me, I'd bid $31 on Priceline on a 2.5*. Or kick in an extra $7-9 and you'd likely get the Sheraton Safari as a 3*.

Obviously, I have not stayed there and this isn't taking into account how nice (or not) the place may be. My opinion is just based on the fact that it's relatively unknown, out of the way, and there are soooo many inexpensive options available in Orlando.

I didn't realize it was that far away. I think I will suggest the Priceline route to them.
