Just wondering if anyone has stayed at the Animal Kingdom Villas yet and what they thought of it?
We are due to check in there on the 21st October.

jools, if you look at the DVC Mousellaneous board, you should be able to find a number of trip reports from folks that have already stayed there. :flower3:
Hope you have a wonderful time!:goodvibes

Jools - We haven't stayed at AKV (yet!) but would be interested to hear your opinion when you return.
AKV is our home resort but as our January trip was only booked in August, there was nothing available and settled for Saratoga Springs. Hope to get to AKV this time next year.
Have a great trip :yay:

We just got back last week from 14nights in a 1BR villa at AKV.
The converted rooms are lovely as i expected although mousekeeping left a lot to be desired!!
we had a wonderful trip. i was quite worried as i had read a lot of stories about building noise but we didn't hear any at all!
i hope to change my SSR ressie for next june to AKV (fingers crossed) :goodvibes

Nothing major..
we didn't get our 1st trash & towel service so we had to ask.
we then didn't get our full clean (sheets changed etc) so we called housekeeping to tell them and they missed it the day after aswell.
that night while i was showering the manager (for housekeeping) came to our door and asked if everything was ok with housekeeping so we told him that we hadn't had had our sheets changed etc and he sent someone straight up.
the sheets were changed but they didn't clean anything and by the end of the 14 nights our room was thick with dust!
this was my 1st DVC stay so i didn't know quite whast to expect with miusekeeping but i didn't expect that. :confused3
maybe they haven't quite got the hang of the DVC rooms cleaning schedule yet.

Maybe nothing major but unacceptable..
It will be our first time as dvc owners in sept and i am not going to be happy if that happens to us.
