a few questions about the fitness center:

is there a fee to use the fitness center (i.e., treadmills et al)?

do you have to sign up in advance to use the fitness center equipment?

is the fitness center equipment for adults only?

are there aerobics classes? (if yes, is there a fee?, do you have to sign up in advance? are they for adults only?)

that's all i can think of for now...

No, there is no fee to use the fitness center.

No, appointments are not necessary to use the fitness equipment, although there may be a waitlist for a short wait for a treadmill during peak times (similar to what you'd find in many gyms).

Yes, the fitness center is only available to those 18 and over.

Yes, there are limited aerobics classes. No, there is no fee. Yes, you have to sign up in advance. Yes, these are for adults only.

thanks for the information...
however, after the revelations of the smoking post i think i'm going to have to cancel.....
i'm sure the kids will be the first to suggest not going given the amount of smoking on board.....
they're even more upset by cigarette smoke than my husband and i are....
it would be stupid for us to spend so many thousands of dollars and end up annoyed, as we no doubt will...
so i'll put those dollars to use elsewhere....
it's really not a question of money as fortunately that's not an issue for us...
it's a question of a small confined space.....a ship is a finite area.....add smoke anywhere in there, and it's a problem...

anyway......i guess we'll have to find the sorts of activities my daughter was so looking forwards to some place else....
