So when I went off on my long weekend in central Florida I didn’t think I was going to write a trippie, but then some things occurred and I knew I had to share with the Dis:rolleyes1 .

So I am puggymom, 41 years old and loves Disney:earsgirl: , pugs pug: and the NY Jets (but we don’t want to talk about them at this point:sad2: ). When I last returned from visiting the Mouse last spring I thought that would be it until February, but then I realized with the 2 trips I had planned for 2008, I would have no solo time and I have really come to love my solo time in the parks. Call me selfish, but I didn’t want to wait until 2009, so I decided to see if I could squeeze in a long weekend before the busy season at work hit. My mom (who usually is my pug sitter) was going away for 2 weeks at the end of September and with the Jets home schedule(I have season tix), Columbus Day weekend was the only one that would work for me.

Hold on I need to back up here. See on my last trip I came home with the mother of all souvies, a DVC membership. :cool1: I bought a re-sale contract that had some carryover points. :thumbsup2 I didn’t close until the week of July 4th and by the time I got in the system to make ressies I couldn’t get in any of the DVC properties for all my nights. Since I didn’t want to move around when I was there for such a short time, I used my carryover points to book a room at POFQ.

Also as a result of last trip I had a credit with Jet Blue, we had arrived so early that there was no gate for us so we sat on the tarmac for 45 minutes, we ended only 5 minutes late, but they still gave everyone on board a credit towards a future trip. Not one to complain, I gladly took it.:woohoo: So I had my DVC points and an airline credit. As soon as I closed and I got a room ressie, I booked a flight for about $125 with my credit. I played around on the National Car site to get a car rental at a decent price (that took some work).

Now I had to put a plan in place. Let’s face it if you are reading this you are a Disser and therefore most likely an obsessive planner. ;)

While waiting to close I had already formulated a plan in my head. It went like this…
Day 1 fly down after work and drive to Tampa. Why Tampa….
Day2 Busch Gardens and later that day drive to WDW to check in
Day 3 Epcot
Day 4 MGM
Day 5 Segway tour and MNSSHP
Day 6 Fly home

Next up departure day…

I was uninspired to work today, so I worked on my trippie instead:)

So the plan today was to work until 1pm and go straight to the airport for a 3:30 flight. I was doing carryon only this time and I did online check in when I got to work that morning. No need to waste my paper and ink at home, that’s what work is for, right?;) By noon I was already gone mentally. Heck I don’t think I even showed up mentally at all today, to be completely honest. I turned my out of office on for my email and also left the message on my voice mail that I was outta here. I stopped answering the phone and email around noon as I didn’t want to get sucked into something as I was leaving. By 12:45 I couldn’t take it anymore and left. I’d rather be sitting in the airport than my desk. A quick ride to the parking lot I use and before I knew it I was on the shuttle van to the terminal. I went straight to security where there was a very long line. No problem, I had plenty of time. After a few minutes I reached the first TSA agent that checks your ID and boarding pass, he very nicely told me that I could go on the express line, I guess he has a thing for chubby blondes. :)

I quickly made it through security and got some reading material and bottled water before finding a seat at the gate. The plane was already there and boarding was still an hour away. OH YEAH! :woohoo: No delays, we took off on time and landed early at MCO!!!! :cool1: I hopped on the fake monorail and made my way to the National Car Emerald Aisle and picked a car out. I got a charcoal grey Grand Prix. It was a fun car to drive, but if you are tall this is not the car for you, but since I am a shorty I fit perfectly.:thumbsup2 I pointed that car towards Tampa and was off. You know what I love about I-4, the 70 mph speed limit. Which of course means you do at least 75. :car: With no trouble at all I found my way to the hotel (Hampton Inn, I have used other Hampton Inns for business travel and this one had a decent review on trip advisor, unlike the other hotels near Busch Gardens (from now on known as BG), it also offers a good free breakfast). I checked in and made my way to the room. It was clean, but worn. Also it was a non –smoking room and the comforter smelled like smoke!:scared: UGH! I called Mom to make sure she had no problems picking the furballs pug: up and she proceeded to tell me how Rocky (he is a rescue with a heart of gold and is also known as Grammy’s boy) found a box of candy and how he managed to get the cellophane off, she caught him just in time before he got to the chocolates. While on the phone with me she is apologizing to him for ruining his fun! Like I said, he is Grammy’s boy. She then pretty much scolded me as it was obviously my fault as I don’t feed him enough  (for more Rocky stories see the Quest for the West trip report and stayed tune to this one).
I watched some TV and fell asleep watching Grey’s Anatomy, I had set the recorder at home, so I just need to catch the ending at home.

Next Up: ROLLERCOASTERS BABY!!!!!

I should back up here again…

Last trip to WDW, I was supposed to go to BG on the last full day in central Florida. I realized going to bed the night before I just didn’t (well couldn’t) leave WDW property once I am on it. I knew there would be more trips and I would just make sure I went there first before checking into Mouseland. Since I knew there was no way I was going to go in 2008, I made sure to fit it in this trip…

Being the obsessive planner that I am I had checked the BG website and found that the park didn’t open until 10 am, so I didn’t bother setting a wake up call, the youngest pug is always up no later than 5:30:sad2: , so for me to sleep past 6:30 is a big deal. I was awake by 6 and just laid in bed and watched the news for a bit before getting up and showered. I headed down to breakfast and had a waffle, a blueberry muffin, yogurt and I took a banana, but decided I didn’t want it, so I took it with me to save for later. I headed up to the room to pack my stuff and bring it down to the car. I finally left about 9:15 for the short ride over to BG. Which I was glad, as when I got to the park the sign said today’s hours were 9:30 – 5. See you can’t believe everything you read on the internet. As it turned out it didn’t matter, the park was dead! :woohoo:

Being the obsessive planner that I am I had already bought my tix at AAA and had also studied the map online to get an idea of where everything was but it didn’t help. I am sure once you are use to the park it is easy to get around, but I was a little discombobulated. I finally made my way to my first coaster Sheikra. On my way over to Sheikra I noticed how hot and sticky it was already. :scared: My hair was loving it. NOT!!! They did say on the morning news how unseasonably warm and humid it was. Great! I guess this is what I have to expect for next August.

I get to the coaster and no carry on items allowed. Now remember the lockers from Universal last spring:mad: , with the finger scans that didn’t work. Well, thankfully BG uses key locks:thumbsup2 . Now they aren’t free, but for fifty cents it was worth it not to have the hassle of the non-working finger scans (I used lockers for each coaster I rode and never had an issue). I hop right on the coaster and get front row, there are only 3 rows with 8 seats across. Here are some pics of what this coaster looks like…

This is the main drop
http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b7ce31b3127ccebd2e4725a29300000035118AaNGbZw4bti

Here it is from the other side, the drop is on the right hand side
http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b7ce31b3127ccebd2e6092e2af00000026108AaNGbZw4bti

When you get to the top they stop you for a few seconds and let you stare straight down while contemplating your fate. OH yeah, good times!:woohoo:
http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b7ce31b3127ccebd2e7a26632600000026108AaNGbZw4bti

From there I found my way to Kumba another great coaster ride, that was also a walk on. Next up was Rhino Rally, it is similar to Kilimanjaro Safari at AK, but better. Maybe it was the driver that made the difference. The driver I had was better than any CM I had at AK. She was excellent. Really knew how to put on a good show. Disney should hire her. Some pics…

So I wanted to do the train next that went around the safari area, but it wasn’t due to leave for another half hour or so. I decided to try another coaster, Montu. After about a 3 minute wait I was off , but then it happened….

I'm in! Can't wait to read more... We have season passes for BG Williamsburg. This is our favorite local park and try to make it there a couple of times a season. (Close to a 3 hour drive for us.)

Two things -

First - Thank you! Thank you! How come I never thought to schedule our non-Disney park day at the beginning of our vacation? We  Sea World - but on our last two trips we had it scheduled for our last day - but couldn't bear to leave Disney property and have extended our vacation and just skipped Sea World - once we make our way home - we are bummed we didn't go! Now I know - we'll book it for the first day! That was a simple solution - I guess I didn't think of it because I'm so used to getting to Disney property as quickly as possible! :cloud9:

Next - I rode the Gryffon at BG Williamsburg - it looks like it has the same drop as the one you show on the Sheikra - it was "fun" to sit on the edge

What happened? Well, I have some issues with my ears, I have inner ear nerve damage (that I attribute to that Who concert I went to in high school, where we had 15th row on the floor tix and my ears were still ringing the next day) that has caused some hearing loss :listen: (left ear is worse, which means my right ear is the good one, got that). As I am riding Montu it happens…

my right ear pops…

loudly…

and painfully:headache: …

Uh-oh!

NOT!

GOOD!

As I got off I could tell my equilibrium was off too. Why do I think that, well…um…let’s just say I was walking like some ladies we know and love after Lapu fest 2007.:drinking1 Hmm, maybe I should stay off the coasters today. I only missed riding Gwazi, which is a wooden one with no loops. It probably would have been ok, but I didn’t want to risk it. With that I headed back to the train station and hopped on…

http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b7ce31b3127ccebd2e63e1a24500000026108AaNGbZw4bti

This was the only thing that was crowded all day, and can’t imagine what it would be like when there are more people in the park. Anywho, here are some not so great pics of the safari area…

http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b7ce31b3127ccebd2e6d5b23c800000026108AaNGbZw4bti

I got off the train sort of near where Sheikra was and that’s when the skies opened up. Of course I had ponchos with me…

In my suitcase…

Which was in the car…

I got stuck standing under some stand selling infant stuff. It didn’t last long and as I was standing there I realized I was hungry. I still had that banana from breakfast in my bag, but decided I wanted a nice lunch and didn’t want to spoil my appetite.

I headed over here, Crown Colony House.

http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b7ce31b3127ccebd2e5a7de25d00000026108AaNGbZw4bti

The restaurant is on the 3rd floor with indoor and outdoor seating. Today there was absolutely no wait and I was seated immediately, inside, no way was I sitting outside in that soupy mess. The rain only made it stickier out (which makes me wonder how comfortable wearing a plastic poncho would be ???). I ordered the turkey sammie on what was some sort of whole grain bread. It was very good, and I really needed the protein at that point and it helped pick my energy up. I really enjoyed this restaurant and would plan to eat here again. I don’t think there were any other sit down restaurants in the park, at least none that I know of.

Next I went over to the walk through exhibit Edge of Africa…

This one is for you Fockers…

http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b7ce31b3127ccebd2e5005631000000026108AaNGbZw4bti

And then I did the skyride over the park, I still love these rides, they are so quiet and relaxing. I miss the MK one. I have some cool pics from the mid 90's from that ride. Here is a self portrait on the skyride.

I have to say the weather was getting the better of me at this point and so was my sweet tooth. I remembered seeing a candy shop and I had a craving to satisfy. I got boring peanut M&M’s, but they were just what I needed, something sweet to snack on. At this point it was just too hot to last any longer and since I didn’t have a hotel to go back to I decided it was time to go home…

to my happy place…

to WDW!!!!

So, I really enjoyed BG:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 (I went to BG Williamsburg several years ago and this beat it) and will return when it is not so sticky out. I loved the shopping here (but I was good, remember on the TFW thread I said no shopping this trip, RIGHT? ).

This along with Universal is something I would like to do every couple of years. Don’t get me wrong I am still a WDW girl in my heart and my soul:love: , but I do appreciate what the other parks have to offer.

Woohoo on BG! We've only been once when we were visiting friends in Tampa and 3 of the roller coasters were down. The wooden one is excellent though, my brother and I rode that one like 3 times.

Need to get back there someday.

Ugh :headache: on your ear though!

You know what I love about I-4, the 70 mph speed limit. Which of course means you do at least 75. :car:
That's how we identify tourists around here - the real Floridians do a minimum 85 on I-4 :rotfl:

Which I was glad, as when I got to the park the sign said today’s hours were 9:30 – 5. See you can’t believe everything you read on the internet.
Rule #1 - trust nothing on Anheiser Busch's theme park sites. :sad2:

I am sure once you are use to the park it is easy to get around, but I was a little discombobulated.
Nope. I can't even count how many days I've spent in BG (I live about 40 minutes away), and I still get confused!

I guess this is what I have to expect for next August.
::yes::

From there I found my way to Kumba another great coaster ride, that was also a walk on.
Yay - love my Kumba runs! :yay:

:scared: But I am glad to hear it wasn't that you got stuck upside down for untold hours. I've actually stopped riding Montu just becuase it gets stuck on a semi-regular basis.

I only missed riding Gwazi, which is a wooden one with no loops. It probably would have been ok, but I didn’t want to risk it.
OH NO! You missed V's Third Favorite Wooden Coaster ever??! :faint: Good decision, though - it pulls some MAJOR G's.

I headed over here, Crown Colony House.

I'm glad you enjoyed this meal - I love the Crown Colony House! And it has nothing to do with the free beer samples offered downstairs. :rolleyes1

I don’t think there were any other sit down restaurants in the park, at least none that I know of.
Not really. There is Oktoberfest, but it's more of a counter service.

This along with Universal is something I would like to do every couple of years.

Did you see the clydesdales? I think the beer tasting station was near that if memory serves correctly.

Unfortunately they were not out, maybe too hot? Oh and it was way to hot and sticky to have alcohol!

You're off to everyone's Happy Place though! :yay:

With a Zorylee moment too...

Hope your ear is feeling better before you get to WDW! That restuarant looked really nice. I too miss the sky ride at MK:sad2:
I really did like that restaurant:thumbsup2

That's how we identify tourists around here - the real Floridians do a minimum 85 on I-4 :rotfl:

:lmao:

Nope. I can't even count how many days I've spent in BG (I live about 40 minutes away), and I still get confused!

Well that makes me feel better!

:scared: But I am glad to hear it wasn't that you got stuck upside down for untold hours. I've actually stopped riding Montu just becuase it gets stuck on a semi-regular basis. Glad I know that know and not 2 weeks ago;)

As I am walking to the car leaving BG, the skies open up, I am in the lot nearest the park, only a few rows behind the handicap section, but it is still a bit of a walk and I am soaked when I get to the car. I start thinking:idea: I can’t wear this shirt to my ADR at 50’s Prime Time. Now remember I did carryon only, so I didn’t bring extra clothes. As I get on 75 South to go to I4, I see 75North is bumper to bumper, better them than me, I got a mouse to see.

I turn onto I4 East at 2:10 and it stops, but only for a short distance and then we start moving for 2 minutes and stop again. Oh, no I don’t think I will make my ADR for 6:10 at this pace.:worried: Luckily they were only minor accidents and after that it was smooth sailing straight through to 192. :drive: Which I got on at 2:55. Hmmm, I see I will hit WDW property by 3 pm which leaves plenty of time to go, um, shopping at DTD. I know there is a guest services there where I can renew my recently expired AP. And the WoD is there too…

Where they sell shirts…

That are clean (well more clean than the one I am wearing)…

And haven’t been sweated in…

Or at least not rained on….

OK, I will buy one shirt and be on my way to check in at POFQ. I get to DTD and realize I have no idea:confused: where Guest Services is at DTD, so I go into WoD and ask, just go straight through Arribas and it is across from the BBB photo shoot. Great I renew my AP with my recently acquired DVC discount and head back to WoD. I knew exactly what shirt I wanted. I had bought the same shirt in navy last time and when I got home wished I had bought it in white too. It is the V neck that has Walt Disney World in small letters on the upper left front. Here is the one I bought last spring…

http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b7ce34b3127ccebd90fb9f199400000035118AaNGbZw4bti

Well they only have it in pink, in size small. They are putting all the winter stuff out already. :sad2: Never mind how frickin hot out it is. I find another t-shirt that is a very light weight cotton that should be good for next August and I get that with my AP discount.

http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b7ce34b3127ccebd90fbca98f100000035118AaNGbZw4bti

Since I haven’t checked in yet I don’t have my KTTW card yet, so I use my Disney Visa. The clerk tells me it would be better to use the Disney Visa discount when spending over $25, so you get 20% off. Hmm, I didn’t know that (remember this). With my new sort of clean shirt I head over to POFQ to check in. Except I don’t know where it is….

See, I always stay deluxe, yes I am a deluxe snob,:snooty: I love my deluxes and when I go on vacation I like to pamper myself. I only stayed in a moderate once (CBR and hated it the whole time, sorry CBR fans). I vaguely remember driving past PO when it was still 2 separate resorts, PO and Dixie Landings. So it has been awhile since I have been by there. Now that I think about it I have never actually been there. I see some signs shortly after leaving DTD and realize how close it is to DTD. Um DUH, they have the boat that goes directly to DTD. Yeah, I guess that means it would be somewhat near to DTD then, you know since there is the boat that goes there. OK, I am a blonde and I have a tendency to have blonde moments. This obviously was one of those moments.

I quickly find my way and turn in the POFQ driveway where I am asked for photo ID. HMM, is that new, I have never showed photo ID at the driveway before. Out of curiosity I asked the guard if this was something new as I wasn’t prepared to show my ID, and very snottily am told “I don’t know”. OK then, gee thanks for your helpfulness and I hope you have a very Disney day.

I proceed to the check in area and with a very short wait I am greeted with the nicest cast member who is from New Orleans herself. Darn I forgot her name and I didn’t write it down. But she really had the right Disney attitude. So with my wonderful KTTW card in my hands I am off to Building 3, room 3216, except I thought she said 3217 (I told you have hearing loss). I tried to get into 3217… um, several times. I double check the map she gave me of the resort where she wrote down the room #. Oh, it is 3216, OOPS. Ok, 3216 it is and yep the key works, YEAH!

I walk in and see the message light on the phone is blinking, hmm. I retrieve my message and it is the same CM who just checked me in, wishing me a wonderful stay. Nice Touch!:thumbsup2

I have plenty of time still before my ADR and decide to settle in and unpack. I hate to live out of a suitcase and always unpack when I check in. Unpacking includes unpacking any snack items I brought along, including that banana from breakfast this morning. Yep still have it with me. I settle in and take a quick shower and put on my new shirt, yeah with my old shorts but they weren’t as dirty as my old shirt.

:offtopic: I need to go off topic for a moment, why is it the only shorts WDW sells for adults are the same darn khaki shorts they have been selling since at least last year?

I head off to MGM and arrive in plenty of time for my ADR. I was able to get a pretty decent parking place too and didn’t bother waiting for the tram. I decide to see if there is a wait at ToT and the sign says 20 minutes, but it was a walk on. I get the front row, middle seat, you know right in front of the elevator doors. I love this ride! :woohoo: I tried to redneck the pic but it didn’t come out. I had some time to waste before my ADR and decided to check out the shops, just to browse. I was doing just that, you know just browsing, when…

There was that darn white V neck shirt I wanted, a whole stack of them, in all sizes!!!! I knew they were limited on these shirts so I bought it (with no discount:mad: ) thinking I wouldn’t find it again. I had it shipped to the hotel. I also spotted some nice earrings in the case. Um how much are they… $75.00, um thanks anyhow. I am not shopping this trip. (Yeah, I know what you are all thinking, that idiot has been in Disney only a couple of hours and has already bought 2 shirts.:teacher: But I am not, repeat NOT, shopping.)

I still had half an hour to my ADR and decided the skies didn’t look to friendly, so I went over to the GMR to wait out my ADR. There was actually a small wait for this, but not ToT, I was a bit stunned at this. I got the gangster again, I have yet to get the cowboy. If it wasn’t for the internet I wouldn’t even know there was a cowboy. MMM, maybe it is an internet rumor that there is a cowboy. I will try again in February as I know Mom will want to ride this one.

As it turned out I am glad I went on this, as when I exited it, it was obvious that the skies had let loose while I was in there as everything was soaked and there were many poncho clad folks walking around.

A little off topic, who else misses the sea of yellow when it rains. I don’t care for these clear ponchos they sell now.

It was almost time for my ADR so I walked over to the 50’s Prime Time to check in. Boy it was crowded in here. The front area and the bar area were crammed.:crowded: I had to wait for a seat to wait. Got that! After I got a seat on the ugly orange couch, I think I was actually starting to dose off as I sort of remember my head bopping. You know that feeling when you start to fall asleep sitting up and all of sudden you catch yourself and you fling your head right back up as to say, no I wasn’t sleeping. Anywho, eventually I was seated and had a waitress named Jenn, she got 2 thumbs up.

I have to back up here, see the only reason I made this ADR was I wanted s’mores. Yep I had a hankerin’ for some s’mores and did what I had to do. I wasn’t really very hungry but figured I should eat something. I ordered the Caesar salad appy and the herb cheese platter appy. The herb cheese was very good except the French bread was stale, the Caesar salad would have been excellent with about half the dressing. No, I didn’t finish either one, I was saving room for my s’mores. Hey I got my priorities straight. The s’mores did not disappoint. They were delicious. And I cleaned that plate. I paid my bill and was outta there. As I walked outside it was obvious it had rained again. I had toyed with the idea of staying for Fantasmic, but it was so darn soupy and sticky out and I was obviously tired I decided to go back to the hotel and call it an early night.

I don’t know what happened driving back to the resort, but I got so disoriented, let’s just blame it on my ear throwing off my equilibrium. I turned left a bit too early and ended up on a road that only exits off the property. By now it is raining very hard and I see the Nick hotel up ahead. I make a left into the Marriot and do what I am sure is an illegal U-turn in their driveway, I am sure the guy behind me was cursing out that tourist driving in front of him.:guilty:

I manage to find my way back to POFQ and this is where I realize why I love my deluxes...
You have to picture the scene, it is a dark and stormy night, in a deserted parking lot, a not so young woman exits her car to go to her hotel room…

Yeah, I got more than a little spooked. See at most deluxes you can valet park and go right up to your room, without walking outside. (also now as a DVC member Valet is free, only have to pay for the tip:thumbsup2 ). I managed to get myself to my room without becoming a crime statistic and after getting ready for bed and watched a little TV before falling asleep.

Today is my Epcot day, I get up and take a shower and that is when I notice the mold on the shower curtain!!!! :scared1: Now I am grossed out!! I also noticed that the tile around the bathroom area could use a visit from Stanley Steamer. (I have them come to my house a couple times of year to steam clean my tile and the couch and carpet in the den. Love how clean it looks afterwards:love: ) WDW really needs to do a better job keeping these resorts up, just my 2 cents here. While I think the outside of POFQ is pretty, the rooms really do nothing for me. The furniture is too dark and the room had a worn feeling to do it. I am glad I took DLMama’s suggestion to bring some Clorox wipes if you KWIM.

Anywho, I finish getting ready and I have to tell you my hair came out great today. :thumbsup2 You know when you have those oh so rare great hair days, yeah today was one of them. Until I walked to the food court, in the rain and humidity. Oh well, at least I had my moment in front of the mirror. I get to the food court and oh I need to back up here again…Since I know I am taking (at least) 3 trips within 12 months I opted to get the Disney Dining Experience (DDE) Card. (The DDP is just too much food for me) It is good for 20% off food and beverages (Lapus included ladies:drinking1 ) at most table service restaurants. The only counter service places included are resorts with no sit down and AK, (though I am expecting that to change with yak and Yeti coming. OK so who else thinks it is funny that a restaurant’s name has Yak in it. ) Anywho back to the DDE, it is good for 12 months for AP holders for $65.00. Since POFQ does not have a sit down I could use it in the food court. They even took off 20% for my refillable mug.:thumbsup2 I opted for an egg white cheese omelet today, with a yogurt and (off topic, I am suppose to drink milk, which I hate so in the real world I buy the Nestlé’s fat free chocolate milk, which is delicious), I don’t see any regular chocolate milk, but I see the soy version. I have been curious to try it so I figure what the heck. I take my breakfast back to the room and everything was good except the chocolate soy milk:sick: . YUK (or yak).

So I finish breakfast and get my bag ready for the day…

About 8:15 I head out to the car to go to Epcot. I get on line and start chatting with the folks around me. 8:45 the turnstiles are opened and I walk to the rope to the far right (in front of Innoventions, not the main area where everyone else is, I am after all a Focker, a professional Disney Tourist.:magnify: ) I need to vent here for a moment, when I see a crowd, I do not walk right up to the person in front, I like to leave a little personal space. As we are standing there I hear that MS and TT are both closed this morning. Great everyone and their Uncle are going to Soarin’. Anywho, the rope drops and we are the first group to get through towards Soarin’. I go straight for the FP and then get on stand by. After riding stand by I rode Livin with the Land (walk on)while waiting for my FP time. As I get off the FP Soarin’ ride, I opt to get another FP and I also decide I want to do the Behind the Seeds tour. I schedule the 11:30 tour which should leave me time to use my next FP beforehand. I leave the Land at this point and walk over to see what is going on with TT and MS. I see TT is open and I get on the Single Rider line. With hardly a wait, I am seated in my car. Happy to report all systems working properly. I walk over to MS and there is a 20 minute wait for Orange (that’s right Orange baby, cheaper than Botox and no needles), I will be cutting it too close to my FP time and making the tour, so I opt out for now. I head back over to the Land (cutting through Mousegears, just browsing folks, just browsing…)

As I get to the Land my FP time has already opened up, I jump on the FP line and it is longer than I had expected, a little worried :worried: about that 11:30 tour. Eventually the line starts moving and they let a bunch of FP holders through. We are stopped in the next section for a while and I am getting nervous about the tour. Finally we are shown to our seats section B row 1 BABY!!!! :woohoo: I notice the woman in front of me has a very thick southern accent. I love that accent, something so charming about it. At least that’s what I am thinking…

at this point...

Boy this lady can talk and talk and talk. :chat: After getting our flight instructions we are shown to our seats and buckle up and the southern belle is still talking and talking and talking. The ride starts and she is still talking, Oh look that ‘s San Francisco, when we were there we walked all over and went to Fisherman’s wharf yadda yadda yadda.

Apparently she is a well traveled southern belle because she had something to say about each scene and how she had been there. This goes on for EVERY scene, I don’t even know how she is breathing at this point! She is some sort of power talker. Then it happens… the golf course scene comes along. All of a sudden she starts yelling…”OMG!!!!! That’s Desert Palm and we stayed in those condos, look you can see the one we stayed in.” With this she starts pointing excitedly at the condos which, as you all know are on the far right of the screen, now remember I am seated to her immediate right. Yep, her flailing arm is now directly under my nose. Now if I was DLMama I may have taken this opportunity to sniff this southern belle’s arm. But I am not DLMama, I am a born and bred Jersey girl. I grew up with the FBI parked on our street, because of who my next door neighbor was, KWIM. I shot her such a look, Tony Soprano would have been proud. I wish I could make her fade to black like the final Soprano episode. I gave her the dirtiest, most glaring look I could. I was MAD! :furious: Now this look I gave seems to have done the trick, she is now quiet, well until she notices the San Diego skyline and starts up again, though much quieter, she is actually whispering now and her body is slightly turned to the left.

As we exit the ride, she is looking over her shoulder to see what I am doing, I think she is a little scared of me now. :rolleyes1 Oh and I am still glaring at her, she must of felt the daggers from my eyes burying into her back. Her and her friends scurry out of there pretty darn fast.

Much to my amusement. :lmao:

I decided to let my prey go, I have a tour to catch. On the way out I grab another FP with a return time of around 5:30.

Next up – Security! There is a Focker in the greenhouse.

Ok funny story Mo. Remember when you go to the movies at some theaters before the movie starts, they play that clip "SILENCE IS GOLDEN"? Andy and I used to lean over and stare right at TE's face. You can get the DDE card anytime, matter of fact my AP at the time was expiring in September and I ordered it in August, they didn't say a word about only a month left on my current AP. Another thing to keep in mind is one DDE card is good for a table of up to 10, including booze. I will easily cover the $65 fee with 3 trips.

I have yet to see the cowboy myself but our own Princess V says he is real!

But first there's back to California and Disneyland and when we get back down to Florida, it's Disney World. So, someday. We ate at the Colony House way back in 1997, back in the day without kiddos. Stayed in Redington Shores in my uncle's condo. Sweet.

I'm subscribing to your trippie since I'm from NJ like you and we love Pugs too. We own 2 Shih Tzu's right now but our next dog is a pug for sure. One of our dogs got very sick when we were away but she is almost 14 so I'm not surprised. She doesn't like her routine changed. Do you breed pugs? Also we are from NJ too and my DH is the BIGGEST Jets fan. I'm :rotfl: about Soarin! At least she got the hint  . Love what you wrote so far. After reading about your first time in a Moderate resort, I'm too scared to not stay Deluxe. We have also only stayed deluxe more out of fear of the unknown if KWIM. We don't like the buses much either. Just starting my trip report today and needed a break. Feel free to check it out.

After my little run in with the southern belle it is time for the Behind the Seeds tour. It was a spur of the moment decision and with an AP discount was less than $12. Overall, I was bored:bored: , the guide was an intern who wasn’t very knowledgeable and the less he knew the more he talked and talked and talked. Gee what is it with the talkers today? The tour is supposed to be at most an hour and half. At the hour and half mark we were down by the tilapia (one of the tanks that the Living with the Land boat goes by) and he was still talking and talking and talking. I was standing in the back and could feel the head bob coming, so I turned around and quietly:tiptoe: left. I saw myself out through the greenhouse, waving  (you know that beauty queen wave) to the passing boats. So if anyone was on Living with the Land around 1pm on 10/6 and saw a chubby blonde with a lime green shirt and Focker Lanyard, waving to them from the greenhouse, hi that was me! I did take one wrong turn getting out of there but quickly found my way out (it is the doors behind the Soarin’ FP machines).

At this point it was after 1 pm and I was starving!!! I headed over to WS and intended to try some F&W offerings. Every line was so long and in the sun with absolutely no shade, I just couldn’t, the heat and humidity were so bad. I went over to Mexico, got some nachos and found a table and umbrella. I asked the CM for no jalopenas, I was assured they were in a cup on the side. Nope, they were on the nachos and I had to pick them off:headache: .

As I was standing in line I realized I hadn’t checked in with the pugs since Thursday and I knew Mom would be wondering if I got to WDW OK. As I ate, I chatted:chat: with Mom who proceeded to tell me about the bag of coffee she left on the dining room table for my brother. She left the room for “only a moment” and when she returned the coffee was all over the floor and Rocky was eating it. Um, Mom, Rocky is maybe 2 feet at most when he stands on his hind legs, how did he get it off the table? Sure you didn’t leave it on the chair? Mom -No I am sure I left it on the table. Okay then, guess I have super dog living with me and never knew. HMM, maybe I can make money off of him so I can take more Disney trips… Luckily he didn’t get much and because she is so frickin' cheap, she packed it back up and still gave it to my brother the next day. LOL:lmao: !!!!! SHHH:ssst: , I am sure I can trust all of you not to tell him.

I had to start watching the time as I had made a reservation for the 3pm Stephen Twinings Tea Seminar over at BC. I absolutely love tea, I drink at least 6 cups a day. I wandered through WS making my way towards International Gateway. I stopped at Germany to get me some dessert, love that German chocolate. While in Germany I stopped in the toy store and saw the cutest stuffed pug pug: in the display case about the size of my fist. I asked how much it was… $80.00. Oh, is that all. I noticed another pug on the back counter and ask to see it, that one was over $200.00! Um, let me think about that and I’ll come back… NOT! Heck, I got the real thing at home, right?

During my travels through WS I spotted these beauties, now don’t they look like some comfortable walking shoes

After a bit of a wait and some line cutting (not me, just observed it;) ) the boat arrived and we loaded up and then the assistant captain, locked it up tight:headache: ! Now I have already mentioned how unbearably hot it was, right? So why would he shut everything up and not let any breeze in? The guy behind me was begging to leave something open for the breeze. I was regretting not walking at this point. I finally arrive at the Y and BC, a few pounds lighter after spending some time in the floating sauna.

The seminar was held in Ariel’s. When you checked in you are given a table assignment, I was seated at Kenya. However, before going to your assigned table you were seated in another area for a presentation on the making of tea and the growing of tea. I saw this gentleman walking around and I thought oh look it’s Lurch from the Addams Family. Well as it turns out it wasn’t Lurch, but Stephen Twining himself.

Don't know what was going on with the camera, but this was the best shot I got. Sorry:guilty:

http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b7ce31b3127ccebd2f8602433000000026108AaNGbZw4bti

You would think I was tasting wine looking at that.:drinking1

Very nice man and very informative. After the presentation we were seated at our assigned tables and sampled some tea. Once we were done sampling the teas, a plate of finger sandwiches were brought out and full pots of tea to enjoy with our finger sandwiches. Stephen sat down with our table while we ate our finger sandwiches and drank our tea. At this point my very dear friend Anne calls, with a drama from the real world. I ignored the call at first, but she was persistent and called a 2nd time. Don’t get me wrong, I love my friends, but when I am in my happy place, I don’t want to be bothered with their dramas, KWIM. If it was something really serious that is one thing, but for life’s every day dramas NO! She does happen to mention how happy I sound, DUH, I am in my happy place!!!!!

While I was there I noticed this fantastic lime green hat at another table and I wondered hmm, I wonder if it is a Dis’ser, I completely forgot about the woman as the afternoon went on and as it turns out it was a Dis’ser but did not realize it until reading another trip report here on the Dis, Hi askelton!! :wave2: Wish I had stopped over and said hi in person.

As you left the seminar you were given a gift bag, nice color tissue paper huh?
http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b7ce31b3127ccebd2f9381821100000035118AaNGbZw4bti
It was a box of tea bags and cup and saucer like the one we used during the seminar.

Next up – to refill or not?

I still had my refillable mug with me as I had taken a cup of tea to drink while standing on line waiting for the park to open. I thought about just going to the BC marketplace for a refill, since the mugs are the same, but since I don’t own a flame retardant suit;) , I didn’t. Relax refillable mug police. I bought a bottle of water and was on my way back to Epcot. Walking this time, no floating sauna for me, I head back to Epcot.

It was just about time for my Soarin’ FP so I headed straight for the Land. With a short wait I was soaring over California, in peace and quiet, though second row this time. (I rather feet in my view than some southern belle’s arm under my nose, in case you were wondering my preference).

After Soarin’ I realized I hadn’t been to Mars yet. So off I went. On the way I remembered I had noticed that the Fountain View was now open as an ice cream place (Edy’s ice cream according to the big sign out front). Since I hadn’t really had dinner (finger sandwiches do not constitute dinner), I stopped for a milkshake. OK I need to go off topic :offtopic: and share an Edy’s ice cream story.

My father suffered for years from a horrible degenerative muscle disease before losing the battle in January, 2006. He had some real rough spots over those years. One of the lowest was in 2001 when he spent 10 days in ICU (we had sent Mom off on a much needed cruise prior to this). He had a host of things wrong including a blood clot in his lungs. Anyhow, we really thought we were losing him (as did the many drs’ taking care of him). We even tried to get mom home but she was stuck off the coast of South America. As he turned the corner an awesomely fantastic ICU nurse discovered how he loved ice cream and decided to give him his pills in vanilla ice cream instead of with water. When she was out of the room, he complained that she was giving him the cheap stuff (you know those Dixie cups that are typical of a hospital). He asked me to smuggle in the good stuff (Edy’s was his favorite brand). Well I didn’t want to smuggle anything into ICU so I told the nurses. The nurses got a kick out of the ice cream snob and offered to store it in the freezer behind the nurse’s station for him. So the whole point of this is every time I see Edy’s ice cream I think of the ice cream snob and it still makes me chuckle.

Anyhow I found my way to MS, finishing off my milkshake as I approach. I hop on the Orange line which was still about 20 minutes. I know many of you are thinking how can I ride the orange side after a milkshake, but these type of rides do not bother me. I successfully land on Mars and my face looks great, took care of a couple of new wrinkles.

Next up: Wonders of Life:sad1: ….

Great report - I'm enjoying reading about your solo trip. I'd love to do one of those sometime.

Love the pictures of Busch Gardens coasters! My sister and I are trying to plan a "coaster" trip to either Islands of Adventure or Busch Gardens - I think you've convinced me to try Busch Gardens. Neither of us have been there in years and I don't think I can bear to be in Orlando and not do Disney. Thanks!

They would close everything up like they were trying to lock in the last bit of AC in the world. Except NO AC on the boats, whats up with that???

About the refillable-for-life mug... it seems all the resorts are converting to one uniform YOAMD design. If that's not The Mouse saying, "PLEASE - use this mug anywhere you'd like, as often as youd like!" I just don't know what. ;)

I had heard that the WofL pavilion was open for F&W and I just had to check it out and see what had become of the old place. Well, it is just sad:sad2: , I walked around for a few minutes and just got depressed as to what was now gone. I still remember standing on an incredibly long line Christmas week for Body Wars. I was with my friend Tina whose DH worked for the Mouse at the time and had given us VIP passes to get into the parks. There was this annoying kid behind us on line who kept bumping into us, so Tina “accidentally” stepped on his foot:rolleyes1 .

They had a wine store of sorts opened and I asked if they could ship home (I was thinking it would be nice for Mom for taking care of the pugs). Nope, would have to put it in your checked luggage. Well, even if I was checking a bag, I wouldn’t put a bottle of wine in it. I wonder how many sales they lost because of the no liquids (other than the 3-1-1) rule?

I think it was about 7:45 and at this point I wanted to stay for Illuminations, but am tired as I haven’t had a break all day. I decided I needed a quick nap to re-charge. Since I didn’t have time to go back to POFQ, I did the next best thing, and went over to U of E. ;)

Not that there is anything wrong with this ride, but it is long, you are seated and it is air conditioned. So you see where this is going. I grab an end seat and put my head down and grabbed a cat nap. Hopefully no snoring was involved, but I can’t guarantee that. When I leave the ride I figure I will slowly make my way over to WS and find a spot where I can squat down and wait for Illuminations. I end up at the store where you enter WS and go through the doors in the back and sit down in front of the lagoon and wait. It was an uneventful wait and before I knew it Illuminations started. I love this show and glad I made it.

So I successfully made it park opening to park closing for the first time in years without a rest break at the resort. I can’t believe I did it yet. Yeah 40 is the new 30!:woohoo:

Since the car hadn't been moved all day I was still parked near the front and was back at POFQ very quickly without getting lost. As I got ready for bed I decided to see what the not so subtle marketing TV channel, Your Next Disney Vacation had to sell me:rolleyes: . There were some scenes from ABD tours, including the Wyoming trip (though according to this Marketing rubbish, there is bike riding in Wyoming and I can tell you there definitely was not bike riding). Anywho, as I am watching it one my tour guides from Wyoming appears on screen. Her name is Christy and if you see this next time you are in Disney, she is one fantastic tour guide:thumbsup2 :thumbsup. Shortly after this I fall asleep.

Oh, that's too bad. We did bring tequila home from Mexico, but D. took it on his plane, where he is the baggage handler. I would NOT have put it in my airline-handled bags.

Getting up the next morning was tough, that opening – closing really wears you out. But I had a Dis meet today so up and at ‘em. Stopped at the food court for another egg white omelet and yogurt (no Soy milk today). Off to MGM for rope drop. As I was waiting to go through the turnstiles they opened up a couple more that had been roped off and I was able to get even closer. (you know it amazes me how many people will just stand there and stare when this happens and get annoyed when others move over to the new lines:confused3 , amateurs I say)

Again at 8:45 the turnstiles opened and I proceed to a spot right in front of the rope and wait for the pre opening show, except they didn’t do it. What happened to the little show they did, it was here in the spring? When the rope drops I am right behind a bellhop from ToT and as I turn the corner I see the car and director character from the missing opening show. HUH? Anywho, my short little legs failed me as by the time I reached the end of the street I was no where near the bellhop anymore. :sad2: I was able to get in the first pre-show though in the library on the right, the one on the left was already filled. Not too bad considering RNRC was not running at park opening. Not sure how many people were aware of this as I only knew because a CM told me as I was waiting for rope drop. Now this same CM said it was perfectly all right to get a FP and that it would be honored all day, once the time opened up. You couldn’t use it early, but you could use it late. Just repeating what I was told.;)

When I exited ToT I grabbed a FP and went to see if RNRC was opened yet. Nope. Ok, onto other areas of the park. I hadn’t seen Muppets in the last few trips so I decided to head over there. This show has been around for awhile and it still makes me chuckle, even the way they do the pre-show is entertaining. I had time to waste before my FP and was not into Star Wars so I decided to do the Backlot Tour. THIS NEEDS SOME SERIOUS UPDATING!!!! Just my 2 cents. But you can sit and get a bit of a breeze at the same time. (but not a good place to grab a nap) By the time I got off it was time for my FP, so I hoofed it back over to ToT and used my FP. This is such a great ride! :woohoo: I also noticed that RNRC was opened, so I hopped on the single rider line. Met the nicest family who decided a short line was better than riding together. And I agree. ::yes:: The poor mother was in a walking cast but she said it was more comfortable than it looked. Now remember my ear on Montu. :listen: Yep, it popped again on RNRC. Not as bad, but I am done with going upside down on this trip.:upsidedow Weird that MS at Epcot didn’t make it pop? It was nearing my ADR at SCI FI so I hoofed it back to that side of the park. I arrived at Sci Fi a few minutes early and after a very short wait was shown to my car.

Those of you familiar with V’s trippies are aware of the Disney Dining Curse. Yep it struck again. I have had the rueban sammie here at least 3 times before and always enjoyed it. Well not today, it was absolutely disgusting. :crazy2: I picked at the meat which wasn’t bad, but the rest of it was so greasy and the cheese was like a hard piece of plastic. I picked at the fries which weren’t that bad, but decided I would just have the chocolate tart for dessert. I didn’t want to leave hungry after all. The chocolate tart was absolutely delicious, so I did not waste my time coming here. I gave the waitress my KTTW and DDE card. She was gone an awful long time, I began wondering if she was familiar with the DDE card. Yep, she had no idea how to apply the discount and was looking for someone who could take care of it. I wasn’t in a hurry so I didn’t mind, but it really was getting to be unreasonably long waiting for the check. The only timeline I was on was that I had a Dis meet at 2pm. Finally my check came with my DDE discount and I was outta there.

As I was waiting to go through the turnstiles they opened up a couple more that had been roped off and I was able to get even closer. (you know it amazes me how many people will just stand there and stare when this happens and get annoyed when others move over to the new lines:confused3 , amateurs I say) Darn stinking right. Although I have been one of them amateurs who think that if I start to move over there will be a bunch of people who will beat me and then I will end up further back.... :confused3

Now this same CM said it was perfectly all right to get a FP and that it would be honored all day, once the time opened up. You couldn’t use it early, but you could use it late. Just repeating what I was told.;) That's right!

I hadn’t seen Muppets in the last few trips so I decided to head over there. This show has been around for awhile and it still makes me chuckle, its not philharmagic but it is cute. The kids like it.

I had heard that the WofL pavilion was open for F&W and I just had to check it out and see what had become of the old place. Well, it is just sad.

Yes, I agree. I really hope they put some money into that pavilion. It could be cool again. I never liked Body Wars, though. :scared: When we went to check out the F&W stuff in there, I got myself a glass of champagne at the Wonder Bar. :thumbsup2

Really? That's good to know. Hmmm... I wonder what would happen if we bought some bottles of wine and tried to ship them ourselves from one of the WDW shipping centers, like the one at the Contemporary convention center? :confused3

I think it was about 7:45 and at this point I wanted to stay for Illuminations, but am tired as I haven’t had a break all day. I decided I needed a quick nap to re-charge. Since I didn’t have time to go back to POFQ, I did the next best thing, and went over to U of E.

LOL! :lmao: U of E is ALWAYS good for a nap! ;)

That's a great spot to watch Illuminations! :thumbsup2

So I successfully made it park opening to park closing for the first time in years without a rest break at the resort. I can’t believe I did it yet. Yeah 40 is the new 30!

You are awesome!

Getting up the next morning was tough, that opening – closing really wears you out. But I had a Dis meet today so up and at ‘em.

Yay! :yay: We were very excited to meet you, too! :dance3:

Off to MGM for rope drop. As I was waiting to go through the turnstiles they opened up a couple more that had been roped off and I was able to get even closer. (you know it amazes me how many people will just stand there and stare when this happens and get annoyed when others move over to the new lines, amateurs I say)

I totally agree. Most people are like lemmings. I'm always the one to fill in a newly opened spot. You snooze, you lose.

Again at 8:45 the turnstiles opened and I proceed to a spot right in front of the rope and wait for the pre opening show, except they didn’t do it. What happened to the little show they did, it was here in the spring?

That's weird! I wonder what happened? :confused3

I hadn’t seen Muppets in the last few trips so I decided to head over there. This show has been around for awhile and it still makes me chuckle, even the way they do the pre-show is entertaining.

I love the Muppets!

I had time to waste before my FP and was not into Star Wars so I decided to do the Backlot Tour. THIS NEEDS SOME SERIOUS UPDATING!!!! Just my 2 cents. But you can sit and get a bit of a breeze at the same time. (but not a good place to grab a nap)

Yep, we don't even bother going on it anymore. :sad2:

By the time I got off it was time for my FP, so I hoofed it back over to ToT and used my FP. This is such a great ride! I also noticed that RNRC was opened, so I hopped on the single rider line. Met the nicest family who decided a short line was better than riding together. And I agree.

Back to back ToT & RNRC! :thumbsup2 Awesome!

Now remember my ear on Montu. Yep, it popped again on RNRC. Not as bad, but I am done with going upside down on this trip. Weird that MS at Epcot didn’t make it pop?

Sorry about your ear. I have a hard time on some rides, too. I think the weather has something to do with it - it was pretty bad that day with the humidity and rain. :sad1:

Those of you familiar with V’s trippies are aware of the Disney Dining Curse. Yep it struck again. I have had the rueban sammie here at least 3 times before and always enjoyed it. I picked at the fries which weren’t that bad, but decided I would just have the chocolate tart for dessert. I didn’t want to leave hungry after all. The chocolate tart was absolutely delicious, so I did not waste my time coming here.

Yuck! :crazy2: Note to self: DO NOT have the rueban at Sci-Fi! :thumbsup2 Glad you at least enjoyed the chocolate tart.

The skies didn’t look good so I decided to check out the animation show. After a short wait we were shown in and we were told to sit in the middle, (unlike the usual “proceed to the end of the row” spiel). I stopped about 3 or 4 seats from the end and the woman behind starts to mouth off to me. Well, her DH tries to tell her that they said to sit in the middle. Well she didn’t want to hear any of that, she insisted on climbing over me and sitting on the end. :sad2: OK wacko lady, I would have moved if you had asked… nicely. Why can’t people just be happy that they are in WDW? The show was ok and I saw the line to do the animation afterwards was sort of long and I really didn’t feel like waiting. I think I am putting this on the to do list for Mom and me in February. I headed out and browsed in the shop (just browsing…). I still had some time before my meet, but the skies did still didn’t look good. I headed over to the main shops and figure I would keep dry there until my Dis meet. Outside of one of the shops was a cute little street show, but then the skies opened up and they stopped in the middle of it. I waited out the storm in the doorway of the store (didn’t even browse, though I did notice those darn white V neck shirts from the other night:headache: ). When the rain let up I went back over to Animation Courtyard since that was where my meet was. I decided to stand right under the arch as that would keep me dry in case it started to rain again.

My original plan did not include AK, but I wanted to try and find one of those lime green Mickey head pins (I was trying to score some Focker points:magnify: ) and from what I am told it is only sold at AK. So I decided to head over there and see what I could find and you know since I was heading over there, might as well see what the Yeti is doing these days right? I ended up with a carpy parking space, you know the opposite end of the row from where the tram picks you up. I make my way to the front entrance and start my search for the lime green Mickey Head pin. Well, my search was futile as I came up empty:sad1: , but since I am here let me go over and check on the Yeti. On my way I spotted these.

http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b7ce31b3127ccebd2f9af843c400000026108AaNGbZw4bti

OK, now we all know how much hotter AK is than the other parks and did I mention how hot it was this weekend? Why would you wear boots in this heat?

Anywho, I have a Yeti to see. I hop on the single rider line and after a fairly short wait I am off. And my ear felt great, go figure. At this point the park is too hot and fairly crowded so I head back out to the parking lot and decide to go back to POFQ. I stop at the gift shop to get my darn white V – neck shirt that I had delivered the other night. I was exhausted and really wanted to go to Wishes as this is the only night I will be able to on this trip. After a nap and some freshening up, I head out to MK. For whatever reason I drove and didn’t take the bus which I would regret later.

I got a decent parking place and hop on the waiting tram to the TTC. After a quick ride on the express monorail I am at the park and I was hungry. I walked past Casey’s and boy did they smell good, as I don’t usually care for Hot Dogs. But I was off to my fav counter service CHH and their tuna sammie. Now, when I first walked into CHH there was one cashier with a really long line on the right and no one on the left. Now remember I am a professional, so I walked right up to the left hand side, that’s right I walked right past those amateurs. Bwahahahahaha. :stir: Oh I could feel the stares behind me. The cashier finishes the order he was taking and turns and asks what he can get me, with what I think is a bit of a grin as he just saw what I did.;) I ordered my usual tuna sammie and a side of slaw. I handed my KTTW card to him and he goes OH, you are a member. A member of what? I didn’t notice this but when you stay on DVC points the KTTW says Member on it. He knew then that that he was dealing with a professional. While those amateurs waited, I quickly got my food. I went upstairs to my favorite spot overlooking the HM entrance and the Disney Dining Curse struck again. The bread was so stale! UGH! What a disappointment.

After dinner I wanted to try out the new HM, but the line was pretty long and I was tired so I thought a ride on the TTA would be perfect. I walked over to Tomorrowland and TTA is not working. Bummer. Buzz didn’t have a long line so I figure it was time to kill some aliens. I got the best score ever (which ain’t saying much), I got a 290,000 baby. :yay: First time I broke the 6 figure mark. This was a big deal for me as I stink at these type of things, my nephews always want to play video games with me as they know they will crush me. It is almost time for Wishes and I am regretting taking the car as I don’t want to fight to get out of the park and over to TTC. I decide to stand at the end of Main Street and just book it out of there when Wishes is over. But first I have to stop and get an ice cream cone at the Plaza to enjoy while watching Wishes. :thumbsup2 And I still notice those delicious smelling hot dogs. Of course Wishes was as wonderful as ever and I decide it’s better to take the ferry, I was going to try the Poly boat and walk over to TTC, but I just missed it. I was one of the first on the ferry and grabbed a seat and then proceeded to have my bad foot rolled over by a stroller. :headache: Oh how I was wishing I took the bus. Luckily there was an empty tram waiting when we got to TTC and I was quickly to the car and back to POFQ in no time.

Next up: SEGWAY tour and I am so sorry, it was an accident.

The bracelet her daughter Brenna made and they bought me the lime green Mickey key chain! I can’t tell you how nice they all were and her DH even had the TFW lanyard on, I have proof…

I know it’s been said before, but it really is nice when you get to meet the folks here on the board in person. I have enjoyed each meeting and this certainly was no exception! We chatted about everything from DVC to ABD tours and even Fuzzy Disney Math!

Next Up: Can puggymom do 3 parks in one day?

Ack! I DO look like a crazy lady! I blame it on the rain! ;) We were running from the front of MGM to make the meet in time during that big downpour! LOL! :lmao: We actually got there about 10 minutes early and wandered around in the middle of the courtyard. We must have passed right by each other! When it got to be 2pm, and I didn't see you yet, I told everyone to wait in the middle and I would walk up to the arch. There you were, all along! So, yes - the crazy lady did grab you from behind! LOL! :rotfl: It was really nice meeting you, Mo. You are such a wonderful person. I hope our Disney trips overlap in the future so we can meet again. Next time, we'll have to plan a dinner - your choice! :goodvibes

Here is the picture we took...

I wish the weather had been better, but at least the rain stopped for a little while! :)

Take care,

Just finished your last 2 installments. Sorry about the crazy lady at Disney Animation  , On your next trip the drawing class is a must. I could not get my daughter out of there, we did the class 3 times. Your DIS meet sounds great. I guess I need to join Focker watch because I was in Disney at the same time as all you and didn't get to meet any of you :sad2: . My DH doesn't get my Disney obsession.

The day started again in the POFQ food court, except I got a cinnamon roll this time. I also got some grapes and a yogurt. I warmed the cinnamon roll up in the microwave for a few seconds. The cinnamon roll was pretty darn delicious, the grapes were so so.

I was off to Epcot again as I was signed up for the 8:30 Segway tour. I was quickly approved for entrance into the park after verifying I was on the tour (same turnstile as the Princess Breakfast). I met the tour at guest relations. When we had all shown up we were walked over to Innoventions where we were given our training. First there was a video we all had to watch and then we had to pick out a helmut. Contrary to public opinion I do not have a big head.;) I had to trade a large for a medium. Once we had our helmets on we were shown to our segways .

If you want to see the training session (other than the video) stop by Innoventions (the one on the right from SE when entering the park and where the fire truck is).

First you are taught how to get on, then how to turn and then how to move forward. During the learning how to turn portion, there was, shall we say, a slight mishap. Each segway had a small orange cone on either side of it, think of it as your personal space. The idea is to stay in between the cones when turning. Sounds easy enough right? Nope! I ended up rolling over a cone and with that I lost my balance and took out the woman next to me. :headache: I made sure she wasn’t hurt and I then I realized I may have twisted my knee (my left foot stayed planted on the segway when I went down) . It didn’t feel too bad so we all just continued with the training. It was soon time to go out in the park.

Since we start in the Future World side of the park which was already opened we have to travel in single file (or as the guides said ducks in a row) as a safety precaution. Once we get to World Showcase we would be free to roam around. There were these 2 guys that just didn’t want to listen, and one of the tour guides kept telling them ducks in a row. Once we got to WS our first stop was China and the walkways there. There were some low branches which makes being a shorty an advantage. Next we went to Germany (one of the guides was from Germany so that made it more interesting with her personal stories). After Germany we stopped here for pics…

This is for you Fockers!

We then went to Italy to weave in and out of the columns in front of the store before heading to the American Pavilion, where it started to rain. We waited out the rain in front of the big doors that lead into the American Adventure. A short time later we went to Japan. We were supposed to go up into the gardens but they were doing work there and it started to rain again. We sat out this downpour near the store where there was an over hang and we could get off the segway and rest our legs a bit (your legs do start to bother you after awhile as that is what you use to go forward, backward and speed up and slow down). Everyone took this opportunity to rest except those 2 aforementioned idiots, the one guide kept telling them to be careful with the wet pavement etc. but they pretty much ignored him. :sad2: Once the rain let up we went to Morocco and France and rode around in there for a bit.

It was then time to head back to Innoventions and ride like ducks in a row. I tried to go in the back as I didn’t want to be in front of the idiots, I wanted to see what they were doing. The idiots insisted on riding in the back. Typically one tour guide rode up front and one was in the back. I kept hearing the one in the back saying ducks in a row because the idiots kept going off doing there own thing. When we were approaching Innoventions, the guide in the back went up front to help control the crowds so we could cross back into Innoventions safely. At this point I saw another CM approaching from the Imagination Pavilion on a segway. Right about this time one of the idiots started trying to do tricks and almost bumped into me, needless to say he got a sampling of my Jersey ‘ tude. The other CM who was now behind us caught all this and as we all went into Innoventions I saw him talking with our guides. After we turned our Segways in and said our thank you’s and goodbyes, I saw the 2 idiots being spoken too. Doubt anything happened, but at least they were spoken to.

My review - I absolutely loved this tour :woohoo: and I know there was an off road version being offered at Fort Wilderness. If that continues to be offered, I would love to try it. This was the best way to see Epcot. Even my bad foot did ok, it was a little sore at the end but not too bad. My knee my end up being another story.

Due to the rain our tour ran overtime and it was already after 11, I decided I wanted to get to DTD and eat at Earl’s before the lunch time crush. By the time I got to DTD it was nearing noon and I headed straight for Earls’. The line was already pretty long. I chatted up with a very nice woman in front of me. She was a CM and it was her day off. I still had my name tag on from the tour and with my WDW shirt she thought I was a CM. Her DH had been transferred to Orlando and she was nearing retirement age so she retired form her real job and when she got to Orlando, got a 2 day a week job at the MK. This gives her all the perks of a CM. She loves it as it keeps her from getting bored but allows her to enjoy the parks on her days off with her CM pass. She even used her CM discount at Earls’.

After lunch I figured it wouldn’t hurt to browse since I was here. :rolleyes1 I started at WofD and bought a really nice pen for work, a night shirt, 2 not as nice pens for co-workers that were covering my clients for me and a long sleeve version of that V-neck shirt in pink. But I really don’t think that means I am shopping, especially anything work related.:confused3

Next stop was the Christmas Shoppe, I got 2 boxes of Christmas cards and I also got the Boardwalk 2007 ornament to commemorate the year I bought my DVC points there. Again, I have to buy Christmas cards anyhow and I am only buying DVC once, right (unless there is a CRV), so I have to do something to mark the occasion. So again, this does not mean I am shopping.;)

I then stopped off at the Pooh store as they have a pets section, I got 3 Pluto doggie charms that say Bad to the Bone. These are normally $5, but were on sale for $1.99, that definitely doesn’t mean I am shopping when something is that discounted. That is just being smart! :teacher: I also got Rocky a birthday present. Again I would have to buy him a b-day present anyhow, so again this doesn’t count as shopping either.

Next I went to Goofy’s candy kitchen to get some pretzels dipped in chocolate. I also thought I should probably get something for my staff at work, so I got a box of candy for them to share. Food doesn’t count as shopping, nope it doesn’t. Anything that is needed to live doesn’t count and food is definitely needed to live. Now with all this Fuzzy Disney shopping I am tired and I have a ticket to tonight’s MNSSHP. I really need to take a nap. And since I am not shopping I might as well head back to POFQ for a quiet afternoon.

Here are some pics from my non-shopping trip

A little side note, so far this whole trip I was wearing Croc Ithacas and my feet were loving ‘em. I didn’t think it would be safe to wear any type of flip flops on the segway so I wore sneakers today. Let’s just say my dogs were barking to have those Ithacas put on again. I doubt I will even pack my sneaks next August, as for February, I may wait and see what the forecast is first.

Next up: a Scouting trip

Love your "non-shopping" expedition! Totally my reasoning too. I am not a big shopper but I would love, just once (or twice, thrice ;) ) to have some shopping time in DTD without the family.

Off topic, sorry, but I'm just curious now in what you do for a living? You're nice to your staff. Will you hire me? :flower3:

What are these crocs that you wear, show me a picture please :) . Last year I wore the ugly beach crocs and they were so comfy. This year I wore the Mary Janes and I got blisters on top of my feet from them and to put on bandaids the rest of the week :headache: . Thanks in advance.

After a nice long nap I called to check on my boys. My mother starts the conversation with “I think Rocky ate a phone number”. HUH? I am picturing a button fell off her phone and he ate it. No, she had a piece of paper on a table with a phone number and now that piece of paper is missing. Rocky was the only one in the room at the time, so she just assumed it was him. She thinks all of this is so cute. I’m thinking I may send him to TE to live with all her goats as he is obviously part goat and would fit right in.;)

I get myself moving and head out to MK. I get a pretty good parking space within fairly close walking distance to the TTC. I hop on the resort monorail as I want to do a scouting mission for next August. I am staying at the GF the first 3 nights with my niece Kelly .

I haven’t even stopped by GF in a long time, I can’t even remember the last time I ate here. I hop off the monorail and head into the main building. I have reserved a deluxe room in the main building with the AAA discount. And if you are wondering how much more a deluxe room is then a standard, a budget busting $10.00. So for an extra $10, we get a lot more room including a sofa and a huge balcony. :thumbsup2 I walked around for a bit and checked out where everything is. Then I went out to check out the grounds and the pools. I know a lot think this place is stuffy, but I can’t wait to stay there. I think Kelly will love it, she loves froo froo stuff.

Finally I find my way to the dock to take the boat over. I get on board with a family that has the 2 cutest girls all dressed up as princesses for MNSSHP. The one girl decides to make me her new BFF and talked my ear off the whole ride over to the POLY and then to MK. Her Mom kept apologizing and tried to get her daughter to come sit with her, but the kid just wanted to talk to me. What is it with me attracting all these talkers this trip? :confused3 She really was cute and pretty intelligent for her age. I do wonder about kids that talk that freely with strangers though. I may be a bit crazy, but am relatively harmless, not everyone else is though, KWIM.

As I step off the boat I start with my left knee, you know the one I think I twisted on the segway. And Ouch! That hurt! :headache: Uh-oh, I did twist it. Well, I am in Disney I am not going to let a silly thing like a twisted knee slow me down!

Next up: OOH, what’s that smell? (No, it's not V's next hotel room;) )

HI everyone, life got crazy, but I am going to finish thing off soon(ish)

As I enter the MK, I realize I am starving and darn it if those hot dogs don’t still smell delicious. I walk on over to Casey’s and order me one those delicious smelling dogs. :thumbsup2 I have to say I really enjoyed it, I was able to find a table right outside and sat down and enjoyed that dog. I have to tell you about the bad parenting I saw while eating though. :sad2: You know how there is a sign about not feeding the ducks. Actually there are a few of them. This kid at the next table (around 10 yo, so old to enough to read) kept feeding his hot dog roll to the ducks, and his parents were encouraging this. This just stuns me that parents have no issue with their kids blatantly disobeying posted signs. At the first sign of me feeding the ducks, my mother would have made sure I didn’t do it again. KWIM?

Anywho, I noticed the CM’s were doing a better job than last year at shuffling the non MNSSHP guests out of the park. It was done in a very nice way I have to say. I noticed you would see groups of CM walking around and if they saw no wrist bands they stopped and nicely asked to see it. If you didn’t have it they offered to have one of them escort you to city hall or if you said no they had this one CM escort you to the turnstiles. The rest of the CM’s would just continue walking through the park looking for others with no wristband.

After dinner I was determined to check out the new HM. As I was walking over the bridge by CP, a little girl came running up to me and wanted to know if I worked at WDW. Nope, just a fan like you. I arrive at HM and am let right in. Well I have to say they did a great job on this re-hab. Two thumbs up Imagineering. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 I am so happy they put some effort into this classic. :woohoo: I went through it a couple of times. I remember last spring thinking what bad shape it was in, so nice to come to home and find it like this. Now, if they would only do something with Space Mtn. I would gladly have them shut it down for a couple of years if we could get what DL has! I have to admit my memory is a bit fuzzy after this I remember I did go to FL and do MP and then went back over to TL and rode Space Mtn and Buzz again (don’t bother asking my score:sad2: ).

I love everything about this parade:love: (and normally I am not a parade person). After the parade was over I went to check out the JC as I love this at night, it wasn’t opened. I was bummed as my 2 favorite nighttime rides are JC and BTMRR and they were both closed. Anybody know what was up with JC? :confused3

Anywho, I went over to see everyone’s favorite captain. The line was a little long but not too bad. But I saw the strangest thing. As I was waiting on line a maintenance worker came by with a rather large container of garbage (think of those carts that hotels use for laundry that are on wheels). Why would a maintenance worker bring the garbage through the line? She then went off through some back entrance with it(which was kinda neat since I never noticed that door on the line in PoC). Now I have done the KTTK tour and they go through the whole thing about how great they are at getting rid of the garbage without the guests knowing a thing. The whole thing was just very strange.

I headed back to TL and road TTA 2x, I was getting tired. I snppaed this from TTA
http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b7ce31b3127ccebd2f9b4182d500000035118AaNGbZw4bti

Soon after it was time for Hallowishes so I headed over towards the bridge that leads from Liberty Square to Main Street. Again, I just love Hallowishes, between this and the parade, it is worth the price of admission. I didn’t partake of the trick or treating as what they give out is nothing special, I rather go to the candy shop on Main street and buy something there. After Hallowishes my intention was to do more rides and wait for the 2nd parade parade. By 10:15 I was wiped out and my knee was hurtin’. Next time I have plans for an after hours party I think I will just do nothing all day and hang at the resort. I was leaving the next day and had to get up early and get checked in with the airline. I really wanted to try for the 10:30 parade but I knew I just couldn’t do it. The monorail was not crowded it all. I was lucky as there was a waiting monorail as I got there and I even got a seat for the ride back to TTC. Before I knew it I was back in bed and it would soon be time to return to the real world.

I had snapped this at DTD in the Christmas store there but forgot to post it, I would love these for my yard...

They did this during P & P Party in August too. There were a few who tried to argue with them, very obnoxiusly, but they handled it very well:thumbsup2

:confused3 Just don't get this.

HI everyone, life got crazy, but I am going to finish thing off soon(ish)
We missed you! :goodvibes
This just stuns me that parents have no issue with their kids blatantly disobeying posted signs. At the first sign of me feeding the ducks, my mother would have made sure I didn’t do it again. KWIM?
It's not just kids, Mo.... TE fed the ducks here at DLR CHICKEN NUGGETS!! :faint: There should be some kind of law against that. :sad2:

Anywho, I noticed the CM’s were doing a better job than last year at shuffling the non MNSSHP guests out of the park. It was done in a very nice way I have to say. I noticed you would see groups of CM walking around and if they saw no wrist bands they stopped and nicely asked to see it. If you didn’t have it they offered to have one of them escort you to city hall or if you said no they had this one CM escort you to the turnstiles. The rest of the CM’s would just continue walking through the park looking for others with no wristband.
At DCA they close the park completely at 6pm and then reopen at 7pm, which kind of sucks if you want to get in early.

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
What did they do different? Did they change the attic scene like DLands?

Now, if they would only do something with Space Mtn.
::yes:: THANK YOU! I always get flamed when I say they should just rip SM out and start over. :lmao:

I didn’t partake of the trick or treating as what they give out is nothing special,

Hi Mo,
Great update!! Love the parade picks of the parde my DS made me miss :sad2: . Maybe I can convince DH to go back next year if a good room code comes out :rolleyes1 . My mom would smack me if I fed the ducks after reading the sign not to. SOme people just think they are above the rules. I agree with you on SM, it needs a rehab really bad. They haven't change it since I was 6. DD and I rode it on our trip and I swear I thought the ride would kill her with all that thrashing around :scared: . I was handing onto her over the seat. She can never ride again until they update it.

Cool! I'm looking forward to seeing the NEW HM!!

My absolute favorite parade was starting soon and I wandered over to Liberty Square and scored an awesome spot near HoP.
Sounds like a neat party! Makes me excited about the P&P party too cause I've never been to any after hours thing! (and good advice about taking it easy earlier in the day! :thumbsup2 )

HI everyone, life got crazy, but I am going to finish thing off soon(ish) Hey Mo, Hope all is well, we miss you.

This kid at the next table (around 10 yo, so old to enough to read) kept feeding his hot dog roll to the ducks, and his parents were encouraging this.
Well you dont have to worry about Happy doing that now do we. He STILL hates the ducks in Disney!!:rotfl2:

I love everything about this parade:love: us too!!We had tkts for Thurs nite. It was much better than last year IMO

I think that when you are alone you really notice things more? It would have made me irritated with anyone feeding the ducks, especially with a sign right there. I'm glad you liked Haunted Mansion. I really missed that attraction in June! But I'm glad it's better now. And, I really like that ghost statue. How big was it?

That's why I like my solo trips, I do notice things I think I otherwise miss.

The ghost statue was maybe 3 feet high at the tallest point.
Hi Mo. Was thinking today that we haven't seen you in a while. Hope everything is ok.

Busy at work and much drama. I'm in a good place but the person I report directly too is on the hot seat and I have been asked to be the eyes and ears for members of the mgt committee, not a good place to be. Not that I care for the person I report into, I think she is a witch, but still she is my boss.

Oh, that sounds like a terrific evening, minus the missing JC, of course! :goodvibes

The morning came much too quickly:sad1: , I needed to get up and ready as I needed to get down to the lobby to check in with Jet Blue. I opened the door and there it was, that dreaded envelope. I walked over to the lobby to check in with the airline. You would think this should be a fairly simple and quick process at this point wouldn’t you. Yeah, well it wasn’t exactly simple nor was it quick.:rolleyes1 Now keep in mind I wasn’t checking in any bags, (hey, stop the snickering, I didn’t buy that much stuff!) I walk up and there is no one waiting, there are 2 people working the airline check in desk.

The conversation went something like this:

Me: Hi I’m puggymom, party of 1 and I am checking in for my Jet Blue flight, I am not checking any bags.

Them: How do you spell it (my real last name is only 5 letters and fairly simple, keep that in mind as you read along)

Me: p-u-g-g-y-m-o-m

Them: OH, here you are, saint bernardmom

Me: No that was puggymom, p-u-g-g-y-m-o-m

Them: what was that spelling again

Me: p-u-g-g-y-m-o-m

Them: oh is this you a party of 2, Chihuahuamom.

Me: No, puggymom, party of 1

Them: how do you spell it

Me: p-u-g-g-y-m-o-m

Them: oh here you are, how many bags, puggymom

Me: None, thanks

Them: Oh wait this is the computer we can’t print from (move onto the other computer and start over)

Them: what was the spelling of your name

Me: p-u-g-g-y-m-o-m

Them: Oh here you are Chihuahuamom, party of 2, how many bags were you
checking

Me: it’s puggymom, party of 1 and I am not checking any bags.

This is not an exaggeration, it happened just like I wrote, I was so ready to hop over that counter and print it myself. And it took 2 of them to print the darn thing!

I finally I got a boarding ticket (triple checking it first) and headed to the food court for my last meal. Today was pancakes, yogurt and lookie lookie there is Nestle Chocolate Milk, man I must have been asleep the other mornings I was down here.

Or just really blonde.

Or a combination of both.

One of the CM’s that I got to know the previous mornings, was trying to talk me into moving down and getting a job at WDW. Oh, how good that sounded at that moment! I got my last meal and headed back to the room for a last look over to make sure everything was packed. I threw out some left over food (including that darn banana from the Hampton Inn), I gathered my bags and headed down to the parking lot one last time. As I headed to the car I walked past a family who was just checking in and I really hated them at that moment. I wanted to be checking in, not going to the airport. Yeah, I know, I am being greedy and acting like a spoiled child but I don’t care. I was not ready to go home.:sad1:

See it was times like this I thought having DVC would make it easier. I have 2 trips already planned for next year and yet I am so depressed to be leaving. The only think that helps at this moment is that I will be seeing my boys in a matter of hours. Sometimes I wonder if it wasn’t for them if I would make it to the airport.

After an uneventful drive back to the airport and dropping the rental off, I am in the terminal. I decided I love my croc Ithacas so much I will pick up another pair while I am here at the Croc store in the terminal. Oh and look at that store over there that has $10 pashimas (love them in the winter). My black one is in dire need of replacement. See, I know what you are all thinking, but this still does not count as shopping either. The crocs are a necessity for WDW touring and a black pashima is a must have too, at least here in the Northeast. If it is a must have it does not count as shopping ( for a complete list of Fuzzy shopping rules, please refer to PrincessV’s earlier post).

My flight took off on time and we arrived early at Newark, I called the shuttle van and was soon in my car heading to pick the boys up. I wish I could show you how it felt to see my boys. They really do make it worth it to come home. If DVC ever starts allowing pets I will be in BIG trouble (please note- this is all tongue in cheek, DVC has no plans for this, please do not spread any rumors;) )

Final thoughts – The weather was lousy, the talkers were annoying, but I would take them anytime if it meant I was in my happy place. I love WDW and it only grows with each trip. Yeah so it may not be as clean as it used to be and some of the CM’s could use a little more training, but so what. I’d rather a bad day in Disney than a good day in the real world. It’s still my happy place (even when a loquacious southern belle is sticking her arm under my nose).

Also, being a Dis’ser has only added to my trips, because of Disney and the Dis I have met some great people I wouldn’t have otherwise known existed. Meeting Michelle and her peeps was such a pleasure and highlight of my trip. Thanks for taking time out of your plans Michelle to meet with me and bring me those very thoughtful gifts.:goodvibes

As for the Disney Dining Curse, maybe it’s not such a bad thing, I have a tendency to go back to what I like without trying anything new. I can be downright boring to tell the truth. The dining curse just gives me the motivation to try new things. (this does not apply though to CP’s puffy French toast, no way am I giving that up for CRT)

As for my knee, it is finally feeling better, still the occasional twinge, but nothing a little time hasn’t taken care of. Just have to be careful on stairs, need to make sure the whole foot is on the step and not just the toes.
So this is it fellow trip reporters. Until next time, I will look to all your trippies to feed my Disney obsession.

I’m outta here Dis’sers, I got me some trip planning to do!

:lmao: Getting on the wrong fake monorail. At least you didn't have to go back through security so that is a bonus!

I love getting home to my pets as well. I always feel so guilty leaving them behind.

I think you got on the fake monorail on purpose, only you didn't realize it. You wanted to extend your vacation any little bit you could!

You saying that Disney may not be as clean as it used to. But always remember and never forget ... it has got to be the cleanest park I have ever been to. I remember going to a Six Flags and just the horror of trash all over the place. Ew.

Thanks for your TR Mo. Loved it and I will look forward to your next one and your next one and your next one ...

I go through security and get on the fake monorail, as we approach the terminal I am looking at the planes parked outside and I am thinking that I didn't know Southwest was out of this terminal. I get off the fake monorail, look up at the gate #'s and it is then that I realize, I am at the wrong terminal, I took the wrong fake monorail. :headache:

I pulled a Waldo! :lmao:
Technically it was just a Wal. To be a complete Waldo, you would have had to go back out and through security again, 'member? :rotfl2:
But I give you an "A" for trying! :lmao:
I love WDW and it only grows with each trip.
I second that! :thumbsup2

I’d rather a bad day in Disney than a good day in the real world.
That, too! :thumbsup2

And of course, had this been an actual Waldo, you'd have insisted that you were right, your way was the correct way to go and last, but not least, that some hoodlums changed the terminal signs so in actuality you were right all along....:rolleyes1

:lmao: LY Waldo!!!

Mo, I'm so sorry I missed so much of the TR in progress. It was fabulous! Loved everything and now I want to do the Segway tour. Hmmm maybe the Fockers who aren't doing LOEMH can do the Fort Wilderness segway tour.

I agree with MNSSHP too as well as P&PP and I'll let you all know about MVMCP this year. :santa:

Great report and I'm still with DM and want to be a surrogate niece. :rotfl: I have a car and can save u some rental $$$ ;) Just sayin' :rolleyes1

I heard from another DISer, who heard it from a DVC member, who heard it from the Resort monorail driver that CRV will have dedicated - NOT lock-off! - pet villas.
