How do you request bedrails for a toddler?

I think they are on the bed already. Just ask your room attendant? I don't think that is what they are called, sorry!:o

You can add the request to your reservation, and then ask the room attendant once onboard. You do need to request bedrails. :)

I called up the cruise line and they noted it on my reservation, they said they would be in the room when we arrived.

Are these the bedrails that go on the top bunk?
If/when we add MIL to the room should we also make a note that the top bunk needs bedrails? Will these fit on top to make it safer?

When my dd(10) slept on the top bunk, there were bedrails there. I think they are built in...at least they looked like they were stationary. About 10"high or so and about 3 feet long. Those are guestimates....I didn't measure. They were quite adequate for her. My ds(2) slept on the bottom couch/bed. He'd never slept in a real bed before. We were going to request rails for him, but the couch is only about 2 feet off the carpeted floor, and we just tucked him in tightly with the covers each nite....He did roll out one night...but never woke up! I just picked him up and tucked him in tight again.
we had a 3 year old last year that fell out of the bottom bunk also.did not wake up either and was not hurt but scared my wife and i so the next day we asked the stewart for one.and that night when he set up the top bunk he put the bottom railing on.no problem at all.

Is there no way that 2 kids can sleep together in the bottom pull out bed or is it a single size?
