You have been lured into the lair of the Evil Panda. You are now trapped and there is only one way out.
You must confess one of your greatest fears. Must be Disney or travel or running/walking related. Confess, is it shyness, fear of rides, motion sickness, fear of mice come on out with it.
We all saw you enter here so don't try to sneak out without paying your toll. You will be hunted down and captured and fed to the Buggie at the Tower of Terror race.
I'll even go first: I get a queezy stomach on some of the rides and I'm afraid I'll get motion sick on a ride.

Or worse, a biker, with chaps and a thong:scared1: :scared1:
I have a fear of flying which is disney related cause I fly to get there:lmao: .
I also fear a injury that could keep me out of ToT or Marathon weekend.

I fear needles. Have a history of passing out--and if you mime giving me a shot and touch my skin, I may just collapse to the floor and cry like a baby.
Please don't do that while I am walking. You'll mess with my rhythm.
On a positive note--you will get to the finish first.:rotfl:

My biggest fear for this trip? Not making pace and getting swept.
My second? The plane trip and not fitting in those seats.

I think my biggest fear for this trip is that I will have a serious stonker of a run (like I did on Sunday!!). I really need to get a good run in sometime before TOT to get my confidence back up!!

Clowns. Definitely clowns.
Also, concerned that by the time I finish the 13K, the lines for the rides will be super long and I won't get to ride before they close 'em down.

My biggest fear for this trip is that I will be tired before the 9:30 PM start time and that my DH will be asleep before its time for the race to start!! Another fear is that I will be too tired/drained/stinky/sweaty whatever to enjoy the rides after.

For the upcoming Goofy, my biggest fear is not finishing both races and being embarrassed in front of my friends. Last year I had a group come down to cheer me on and blisters did me in at 21 miles. I felt bad, since they came down to see me in the race.
I have 10 people coming this year, so I don't want a repeat. (Maybe I should forget about bringing scream teamers and come alone:rolleyes1 ).

My biggest fear for Goofy is not finishing.
When I ran the ING Georgia Half marathon, I had nightmares about the marathoners passing me. I dreamed of being run over by motorcycles or run down by Kenyans for days. Funny thing is that I finished immediately ahead of the Marathon winner. Yes that was me standing there looking like a beet red zombie in all the news coverage of the winner.
Perhaps my new fear is being filmed at the finish line of Goofy - if I looked that bad after a half........

Here is an odd one.
As I run, I take a wide route around road kill because I picture them biting me as I run by. It really freaks me out.
Also, I am scared to death of this trip. I am bring my Ex and my new girlfriend along with my son. Could be exciting.

I think another of my fears is having my DH and DFs not have a good time while we are in WDW. Being the planner is WAY too stressful!!:duck:

Surely I'm not the only one afraid I won't get to the Expo on time, or they won't have my number, or I forget my favorite shirt/socks, etc. Shoes! Don't forget shoes! And double those fears because I have to pack for DD to be in the race too!
Guess who seriously overpacks- good thing we can drive...

As for the Goofy fears, I wouldn't know where to begin!

Beth, Darlin, a bunch of us have done that very thing, including me. Not to worry you get over it. It makes you go faster next time. I'm a walker and I enter races where everyone else is a runner.

You are definitely not the only one. Forget the fears about having to be scraped off the pavement during the Goofy (or risk turning into the much-feared roadkill!)...my nightmares center around missing my number pickup or even worse, missing the race because I overslept. Which is a little ludicrous, because I am an insomniac who never uses an alarm clock, yet can not recall ever having overslept for anything. But you know those nightmares people have about being in school and forgetting to show up for the test (with or without clothes)? I have had them many times with respect to races. And I also have the total clothing anxiety -- I am always convinced i will somehow forget all my running stuff. As if!

No one has to worry about being last, DH and DF have decided that somebody has to be last and they are okay with that. :lmao: Moving right along, I have to add to the fear of not being registered because I registered myself (got the email), DH (got the email), DF (got the email) and DF wife (got no confirmation email). Talk about scared :scared1: What if we get there and she is really not registered? :confused3 She is walking with my DH and I am running with her DH. So, I guess that would be my ultimate fear. That and showing up without my pants.........

:worship: to you Evil Panda and, well, I ain't been right for a long time. I think that happens to us racers. :rolleyes1 Something happens from all that jarring of brain mass. And, since my husband was going to be water boy until he got mysteriously signed up for the race....I don't think I will push the present issue!!:dance3: (this is myself, DF and DF's wife who would all be the culprits in his mystery confirmation!!)

Okay, here's mine. At the start line everyone points and laughs at me because I am not a "real runner" I am always behind in my training because I am injury prone (shinsplints) I usually have to walk some of the race and when I do run, it is slow. I am a petite girl and I think I look like I should be much faster than I am. So there it is, I feel better already. Until race night, that is.

Like my Sole Sister, Sasparillo (Heather), I'm most afraid of not making pace and getting swept. Not getting to where I need to be on time for the 1/2, blisters, long lines at the porta-potties and not finding THE perfect DW sweatshirt to bring home....those rate right up there, too. I choose not to live in fear! I will train, I will have a game plan, and I will SUCCEED!!! And the shopping for a sweatshirt part? Dang it, if it takes 3 or 4 to sweatshirts to get it right, then so be it!!

My biggest fear? Being sick again for the race. I was able to fake it through a half, but no way could I have gotten through a full.
Close second, being on iasw and having it break down and being stuck in the world of those creepy dolls!

I'm afraid of the evil panda who has the ability to suck me into threads even though I'd only nipped in here to see if there was a discount for marathon weekend.
I'm also afraid that my PF has come back with a vengence after a month of absolutely no pain - ggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, especially as I flared it up doing a walk to raise money for charity (last time I do anything nice for anyone).
Other than that (and a minor issue with heights) bring it on........

OOOOH, I also fear lunitic (SP?) drivers not paying attention, when I am either running or biking......just had a friend get hit by a car while riding and he broke his femur (SP? again).
