2 bedrooms at OKW [Archive] - The DIS Discussion Forums

Am I correct to think that because of the size of OKW, I am likely (very likely) to be able to reserve a 2 bedroom at OKW during my Spring break '09? The Spring Break is not around Easter, and I would be booking at 7 months.

If you think that I absolutely should also book BWV at 11 months out, just in case, please mention that. The 2 Q's in the second bedroom at OKW would be the selling point, and for not many more points than BWV SV.

I have booked OKW 2 bedroom at 7 months --that day-- and not day by day for the early DEC rush and got 2 with no problem BUT if you are set on those dates I would book BW just in case.. and you will sleep better at night :lmao:

If your break is not around Easter you will be fine. Remember to request a lock-off if that is what you want, otherwise I think you will automatically be assigned a dedicated.
Looks like you belong to the "Planning-DVC-Is-Half-the-Fun Club." ;)

okw is generally less or the same points than standard view BWV.

yea don't think you will have a problem, especially after Easter.

that say always book at your home resort. just in case, you forget to book at the 7th month.

I booked OKW at the 5 month window for this past summer and got a 2 bedroom--dedicated. I liked having the dedicated one as we didn't need that kitchenette in the 2nd bedroom and liked having the second vanity, esp. since I was sharing that room with my daughter, so we each had our own "space". I still tell folks that OKW 2 bedroom is so huge!! We were certainly impressed with our OKW stay.

I get the sense that we'll be OK at 7 months. That gives my DF's a chance to really decide if they're coming, and get plane tickets, and then I'll borrow the points for the trip. I think for the comfort of us all, it will be OKW. Now, I'm really ahead of myself, if I can't book until August '08!

Spiceycat, you're right, it's 2 points a night less at OKW than BWV standard, so it's fewer points to borrow.:goodvibes

In '09, Easter is April 12th, my Spring break begins March 22nd, so I'm before Easter, but not in Premier season.
