View Full Version : reservation request...question NEW DVC MEMBER

Once you email a reservation request in - how long :hourglass does it usually take to get a response? I emailed the request this past Sat., Oct. 6th. I have not received any response and I am starting to bit my nails. :worried:

I think I have read everything on the member website at least 3 times now.... since I have received all my info. DVC member since Oct. 5th, 2007....wishing since Nov. 1997.

I never use the email reservations, I always like to speak to someone.

I think I read that Member Services (MS) was closed today for a special event. Perhaps your reservation got lost in the shuffle. Why not call in the morning to find out where things are?

Did you check your upcoming vacation site on the website to see if they booked a reservation for you already. It's under vacation points.

Like robinb, I always make my reservations by phone. I don't want the stress of waiting for a response via e-mail (I want my Disney and I want it NOW!!! :hyper: :furious: ).
Also, if I cannot get my request, I can find out about alternate dates and/or resorts right away, I can secure something and put myself on a waitlist if need be. :thumbsup2

I've occasionally made email reservatin requests on weekends, and I've usually heard back on Tuesdays.

This week, though, was Columbus Day Monday and MS wasclosed 1/2 day on Tuesday. I would think you would hear back by today (Wednesday).

I called member services today and confirmed that my reservations were made for Feb. 2nd-9th, 2008!!! WDW here I come, again....:woohoo: :yay: :banana:

What resort did you reserve? Congratulations. All of the reservation information should be on your account online now. Check it out there too.
