Does anyone know where I can get a discount code for online ordering of the 2007 book, or at least the cheapest place to get a copy.

You get a great discount code through their website if you join their community board and order through their on-line store. I think it is 20 or 30%. If you join the PassPorter Club ($4.95/mo), you get a 35% (I think) code in addition to getting access to many interactive planning worksheets and wonderful e-books.

I'm not sure how soon you need it, but the 2008 version will be coming out in about a month. I know that the older versions are periodically put on sale at their website, (sometimes older ones go down to $1) but I do not know if there is a set schedule for these sales. Maybe someone else can help there.

The 2004 version is $1 right now. We're going on our second trip this year and needed more pockets. It was cheaper to buy the whole 2004 verison than just the pockets.

I'm going dec. 2 - 7 so i don't need 08. Would 06 or 05 be just as helpfull? pockets?
