Okay,so if you haven't caught on already,I've got cancer.
And to avoid angering, annoying,or whatever-ing people, this is where I will update you about surgery, chemo, whatever.
Also,I know some have had friends/family/loved ones battle cancer, and some are battling it right now.
So if anyone wants to give/recieve advice, this would be the perfect place to do it.
If anyone wants to ask questions about cancer or dealing with cancer, this would also be a good place.
So it's in your hands now.
I'll update when I can.
You can read if you wish,or simply ignore it.
Please,if you're going to bash or start drama, this isn't the place.
So,yeah,that's it.

Both.
I'll update you guys like I mentioned.
And I know some friends who have questions but were too afraid to ask.
So they can ask here where the main topic is cancer.

Well,this is it you guys.
This is my last post.
Tomorrow I'll be leaving at 230am for the hospital.
Supposed to be there by 530am for prep.
Scheduled for 730am surgery.
When I see you all again,I'll probably be cancer-free.
There's still that small chance the cancer is microscopic somewhere in my body, but probably not.
I've still got 4 rounds of chemo so I'm not in remission just yet.
So I'll try to come on when I'm not drugged up on narcotics/pain meds.
Remember to check the C&C board for Mskanga.
She's my mom,and she'll probably be posting an update.
There's also my CaringBridge site, that my mom will update.
It's http://www.caringbridge.org/cb/inputSiteName.do?method=search&siteName=sonyawhitman .
Love you all and see you soon.

Just wanted to let you all know that I just read the post from Soyna's mom(MsKanga) in the coping thread and she said the surgery on Sonya was a success and the tumor was completely removed. She also had to go through a knee replacement and is in quite a bit of pain right now, but is hanging in with Narcotics. Also her mom said that the preliminary bone manor cells show NO signs of Cancer. This is such great news.

Best of luck with your cancer. I know it is a very upseting, confusing time in your life. Best of luck. I'm sure everything will clear in the end. :)

I am in excruiatng pain.
I have a PCA pump, where I press the button and the Dialude is pumped into me.
I do that every 15 minutes.
And as a result,I'm itchy all over from the Dialude and the anesthesia.
And yesterday,1 day outa surgery, and the physical therapt team expected me to walk!
So they come in,my leg is in this huge contraption that moves it so it doesn't get stiff.
They take the machine off, move my leg on the bed to where it has 1 FOOT hanging off the edge befofe the waterworks start.
It was SOOO EXCRUCIATING I moved myself back into bed.
And then the freaking nurse tells me 'Oh honey,we have adults all the time who do this. why can't you do it?)
I was like STFU lady,i'm not an adult i'm 14.
more to come later.
i'm passing out from the pain meds.

Aww stay strong! Everyone heals at their own rate. You have been so strong, I am sure you will fully recover. Just maybe not ONE day after surgery, that is a little extreme.:grouphug:
