have you ever gotten AP rate at SSR in april/may?

if so, about how much did you pay? i'm *hoping* for AP rates for this time of year so that i can add a night onto our vacation (friday, may 2nd, to be exact) and i'm trying to budget for it, but have no idea how much it will be.

I know this isn't exactly what you were looking for but:

I've been looking online for historica AP rates lately and it looks like for SSR last year in from mid april to beginning of June was the first time DVC had been offered. I'm showing average of $101 off rack rate. Sorry can't find anything more specific.

I had AP offer for SSR in July a few years ago. Not quite as peak season as April/May, but discount was even open week of the 4th which I thought was odd. Studios were $159 and 1 BR were about $190. We ended up switching to OKW in studio that week for $159 from SSR. (I was missing that beach feel b/c we didn't go to the beach that summer.)

It seems like SSR has been pretty available lately. Plenty of people were upgraded to SSR from the value resorts last August/Sept. for free dining. We easily booked SSR with an airline employee discount recently. There were certainly AP rates available at SSR last month as well. So, hard to say, but I think your chances are better with SSR or OWK than any of the other DVC properties. Good luck!

By the way, we've gotten a one-bedroom at BWV on an AP rate several times in the past few years, so AP rates at DVC resorts are definitely a possibility.
