It was amazing to visit the Vatican and there is a statue of St. Peter that people line up to rub his feet for good health, needless to say, Tom rubbed one for himself and the other for our grandchild...
It was a great trip, next week we are in Boston for the Pancreatic Cancer walk we are doing with the Lustgarten Foundation.....not sure I mentioned we are calling ourselves Team Thomas and the immediate family is walking including Baby Thomas, providing no rain. Then CT Scans, the day after, and then the meeting with the oncologist... One day at time, I remind myself of that all the time.. Seeing the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, a once in a life event, was incredibly uplifting for Tom...and believe me I carried you all with me offering prayers for all of us here..

I know this phrase used to always bother me but its true. God only gives you what you can handle. Anytime the burden gets to be too much for you please post here. We are always ready to listen and help carry your burden.

Hi Marsha!
So glad you had a wonderful time! The power of prayer is an amazing thing, good luck with all Tommy's tests, and give that grandbaby a hug for me!

Hi Marsha: I have tried three times and could not get this message posted so here goes again! So glad you had a wonderful trip. I'm sure all the prayers are helping Tom and good luck with his upcoming tests.
I was in West Bridgewater over the weekend and the weather was wonderful - very warm. My husband is a Boston Red Sox fan and you could feel the excitement in the air - we ate at Charley Horses so he was in good company watching the Yankee game also.
Take care. Barbara
