i've never used a dark transfer..are they different than the regular transfer sheets..someone said it said not to use mirror image , how do they work??? i should have used those instead of the plain avery transfers..i didnt realize the plain didnt have white backgrounding, and my tote bag was beige and the ghost on the design is beige now....live and learn...i also ruined 2 shirts...i get so nervous when ready to iron on that i go brain dead. on 1 shirt i did the transfer upside down.and the other one ripped on me when i was pulling it off. heres the pic of the tote bag, you'll see how the ghost looks beige.(sorry i posted that pic before)http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v211/korzmom/IMG_1798.jpg

Your bag is still really cute!!! :thumbsup2
For the dark transfer, you print it without reversing the image. Then you peel off the backing and put it down on your item (shirt, bag). Then you put a piece of parchement paper over the image (that is included with the transfer paper) and iron over that. I like the dark transfer paper, but I find it extrememly frustrating to get the backing off! Maybe it is just me, but it seems to take me for ever to get it started, if that makes any sense. :confused3

I agree, this is so cute! No one will ever notice the "ghost" isn't white. Besides, it looks like you coordinated it with the bag!! :thumbsup2
Great job!!

I think the bag looks great! Thanks for sharing the pic:thumbsup2 - sorry about your other experiences. It does certainly get easier after you have done a couple.

I reall recomend the dark transfer paper !! I didn't find it hard to use at all and all the colors came out GREAT. You don't reverse the picture, just peel the backing off, place face up, cover with the paper provided and iron on. Simple enough.
