HHN Question

We are planning on going to Halloween Horror Nights on either Sunday the 21 or Wednesday the 24. Do we need Express Passes? We have never been before. My BF really wants to see the Rocky Horror Show, is it good? Also, how does Stay and Scream work, we have never been to Universal, would this ticket allow us into IOA to get a taste of it? Are any of the rides open during HHN, like at Disney?

I'm going on Oct. 21 and learned from experience last year that it's worth having the express pass. Last year we went on a Thursday with Stay and Scream and Express passes. Once we were let out of the Stay and Scream area we were able to hit about 4 houses before the crowds got huge. Later that night, we used our express passes to complete the last few houses and then took a second walk through the first four we completed earlier. It was nice to be able to walk around, have some cocktails, and not worry about spending the whole night in lines. Definitely get it.

If it's in your budget, get the express pass. In fact, if you don't plan to be in the park prior to close so you can stay & get a head start via Stay & Scream, the express pass may be your only sure bet to see all the houses. We always find it's well worth it!

Jenn and DaveFirst off...get the EP. Second...I saw the show last night and liked it a lot but I'm a huge RHPS fan anyway. If you haven't seen the movie or don't like subject matter that's a little risque, skip it....otherwise you should enjoy yourselves.

Where is the RHPS being shown exactly? ...oh and how long does it last? Thanks :)It's shown in the Beetlejuice theater and lasts approximately 35 mins. I saw it the other week and it wasn't bad. Lots of strange looks from some of the viewers...I guess they thought it was going to be something scary. :rotfl:

The two Thursdays have not been bad crowd-wise (relatively speaking, HHN is always "crowded" as compared to the parks during the day), while the past two Sundays have seemed more packed. Although busy, I don't recall any "OMG!" lines either night (thinking back to 180 minute waits when the event was in IOA).

To use Stay & Scream, you need a day ticket to the park and a ticket to HHN. So you can buy a ticket to IOA, spend the day there, and then head over to the holding area in USF when the time comes. And yes, most rides are open during HHN.

Maybe there were many younkin's at the show that really do not know the Rocky Horror Show.. not like some of us old biddy's....that can remember when RHS first came out.... ;) Let's do the time warp again.... :banana:
