My dh says I'm officially crazy!
Went into the pet store to get dog food last night and little ds' was looking at the fish. He found Mickey mouse platies and they really have a 'hidden' Mickey by their tail. Had to get a few so my fish tank is mickeyfied.
I have a hidden Mickey on my dog and now on my fish now wonder how I can get one on the rabbit! :lmao:

We have a 77 gallon tank with "community fish". My 3 year loves our mickey mouse platies. I heard that they are regular platies and are injected with black dye. Not sure if this is true or not.. If it is true I feel so sorry for them. We found 4 orange babies in the tank last week, not sure if they are from our regular or MM platies. Will have to see how the look as they get bigger.

Just kidding - of course!

We have a hidden mickey fishie in our tank too. The owner at the store said they are bred that way - not injected.

some orange ones and some yellow ones. They are very hardy too...and cute to boot!

I just told DH last weekend I was going to buy some Mickey Mouse platies after the long weekend... and he laughed back "like they make Mickey Mouse fish". Needless to say, I had to laugh when I saw this thread tonight... it's like we're all on the same wavelength!
