I have cruised DCL before, but without my kid. We are going soon and I need to know for budget concerns, is there a charge for my 4- year-old to join the kids club on board while my hubby and I are out doing our own thing? Please answer ASAP if you know as I am on a short deadline here!!

Thanks!
Angie

Not to double question - are you sure!! That is hard to believe seeing that they chrge extra for everything else! (ie excursions, drinks,.)

We are on a really tight budget and I just want to be sure.

Thanks so much!!! :P

Really, no charge!

They lend you a pager, and will charge you $150 if you fail to return it. And some people "tip" the counselors with phone cards or other non-monetary treats. But there is no charge for the program itself (and my kids just loved the lab!) :)

That's correct...no charge. My grand dtr. loved the club on our 1st cruise, didn't like it as much on 2nd cruise.

I posted this on a different thread, but this is a quick overview of what is and isn't included in the price of your cruise.

Included in your cruise:
All food, with the exception of pre-packaged snacks, like candy bars, etc. (See note below about Palo)
Non-alcoholic, not bottled/canned beverages during meals in dining rooms.
Your room.
All of the shows/entertainment onboard.
Kids Clubs for kids over 3.

Not included in the cost of your cruise:
Tips, including the $5 per person charge at Palo (the adult-only restaurant). Check Barb's (http://www.*****************) site for more info on tipping.
Alcohol
Soda outside of meals.
Excursions on the islands.
Flounders Nursery (Babysitting for children too young for the clubs)
Internet access ($0.75 per minute, or unlimited access for $89.95 on the 7-day cruise or $39.95 on the 3 and 4 day cruises.)
Spa Services.

THANKS to all of you. What would I do without my buds here at the DIS? :-)
