I could not do 2 weeks solo at WDW, but I could also not do 2 weeks with family or friends. I like to limit myself to 4 day trips...they always keep me coming back for more.

Looks like you're excited for your 2 week trip so it sounds like a great decision. I'm sure you'll have a great time!

I'll miss you by about a month on my solo trip in December. Otherwise I'd offer a toast to you for your 50th birthday. Consider this a virtual toast!

Yes, I could, and I have. ;) In the winter, I usually go solo for a month. DH sometimes visits for a long weekend during my extended trips.

Have fun!

Sounds terrific. I've stayed at BCV and love it there, but I've never stayed for 2 weeks. I have no doubt that I could enjoy myself staying solo there for 2 weeks, but it just hasn't been financially "in the cards". Have fun-and be sure to give us your reviews of all the resturants. Are you doing any character meals? I see you're going to LTT, but I don't know if it's lunch or dinner.

My first solo trip is in November and it's for 7 days. I now realize that I will not be able to do everything I want to do in that 7 day period. So I'm just going to have to go back again and again. But two weeks. That's so awesome.

Um...what is Stormalong Bay?

I would have to learn how to take it easy while there. I'm an open till close kind of girl at this point and a week is plenty at that pace.

I have a landmark birthday coming up next year and have not been on any sort of vacation alone in decades. I would love to go to DW alone for a bit to celebrate but I would have to find a babysitter for my husband. :cool1:
