I wondered if you can still have the DDP when you stay at a DV Resort. We are hoping to rent some points for dec 2008 but wondered how we go about getting the DDP.Can we buy tickets and ddp in the resort?

The DVC owner who's providing the rental can arrange for you to have the DDP. It will have to be paid for at check-in. :thumbsup2

BTW, if you're talking about '08, there are two different levels of DDP: basic and deluxe. IIRC, the basic one costs $37.99/person, and the deluxe costs $69.99 (or $67.99, I can't remember which  ). Ask on the restaurant forum how they differ. :goodvibes

Yes I just rented some of our points a few days ago and ordered the DDP which the guest will pay for on arrival.

It all seemed very easy. If you are interested we still have points to rent.

Our home resort is Saratoga Springs but we have just rented a weeks points at VAKL for school holidays in April.

We cannot book other resorts until 7 months out. Home restort is 11 months.

You can check with us if you are still interested nearer the time. We have enough points for what you want. The going rate is £5 a point.
