I searched this, only found old posts...from like 2004. Can we have tiki torches at our campsite? Heading for the Fort in 7 days!!:cool1:

Tiki torches are a no no. Charcoal fires are allowed in the grills, fully enclosed portable fire pits are allowed unless there is a fire ban in effect.

When we were there last March we set up our Tiki torches and came back one evening to find a note asking us to take them down.

I take tiki torches with us religiously and set them up on the perimiter of our campsite. The last time at FW back in March, I was told they are not permitted (I had set them up and was asked to take them down).

We bought 8 of these to line our pool a couple of months ago. They look so real it concerned our neighbors; they actually thought we were leaving our torches lit all night. Ours actually came from Lowes, 4 to a pack for about $60:
