Hi everyone!!! As you know one of our fellow scrappers, JennyL has a bundle of joy on the way... and beautiful bouncing baby boy!!!!

Buffy and I would like to host a baby page swap like we did for PatchChild...

The idea is to create a two-page layout for your theme. You may chose as many themes as you would like. If you think of more ideas, post them..and I will add them to the list.. there can be numerous general pages so sign up for whatever you would like. We will be making a 2- page layout for an 8X8album.

Everyone will send their creations to one person (Mickeyteacher; will post additional info later) and she will put all the pages into an album and send them on to JennyL.

DUE DATE FOR THE LAYOUTS TO BE RECEIVED IS November 1. This will give us time to get them into the album and to JennyL before the big day!!

Also please include a tag 2 x 3 in size embellished for the sign- in pocket. This tag should have your name, your DIS name, and what pages you created.
Please post here on your status and when you mail.. I will be monitoring this routinely in case there are issues or problems.

Does a "swap" like this ever really close? I'm wanting to sign up, but I've got so much on my plate right now. I am afraid to commit if there's a chance I wouldn't be able to fulfil my obligation. I've been so good at staying off this thread that I was completly surprised by my package today. I absolutely love it and can't wait for the little guy to get here so I can add some pictures. DH isn't home yet but I'll go through it again good when he gets home.

Just an update for those that want to know I go on Thursday for another sono so that we can see the progress of our little guy. DH is so thrilled he can't wait. We had our first birthing class on Sunday and DH thinks he is very unprepared for the actual deilvery process. Not sure what he thought his role would be but they really play up the importance of the partner in delivery at the class so now he's a little worried. LOL hmm still thinking that I'm doing the hard part. We are still working on a name but are getting closer. I'll share once we decide.

Jenny tell DH his role is to support and be there for you... that he has nothing to fear... Believe me.. DH and I did this for 3 together... w/ our DSs he was there and just kept telling me how proud he was and that he loved me..he was more worried w/ our last child because we had a C-section (breech baby)...but he was there for me *us* every step of the way... Yes, you are doing the hard part...but remember this is the hardest pain to bare at the time...but the easiest to forget (until you have another child...than you remember and forget just as quickly)....the reward is that beautiful baby!!!

Anyway, can't wait to hear what DH has to say.... just a few more weeks....

I will post pictures. Our DSL was out last night due to the system wide Bellsouth outage. It was hard to be home and not surf the web. On a better note- I did get the christmas cards ready to be mailed.

DH and I went through the book last night. We are both so impressed and very grateful. You are all such good friends and I can't wait for the little guy to get here.

Update: Went to the doctor this morning and he's measuring big in the 80% so he's going to take another look in about a month and see how he's doing and then we may need to start making some delivery decisions.

I told DH the same thing and he just laughed since neither he nor I are very big people. LOL he then was like we have no big people in our families until I reminded him that I have a 6'3" brother and he has an uncle who is 6'5" so we do have some height there anyway.

Hey- I know the big boy and girl thing... DS was 3 weeks early and 8 pounds 9 ounces. The doctor laughed when I got pregnant because DH is 6 feet 7 inches tall. He was about an 11 pound baby. I guess he know ds would be big. When I had him, he was the largest baby the doctor had delivered in 6 months.
4 years later DD was even bigger- she was also 3 weeks early and came into the world at 9 pounds 9 ounces! The same doctor asked if I was trying for a record.
Bigger is not a bad thing sometimes!

the pages look beautiful everyone.........DD was 8 lb 12 oz and 21 1/2 inches, I'm only 5'5" and DH is 5'8" but my family is huge, I'm the runt of the litter :lmao: . I was huge when pg and carried really low, could hardly walk the last month. DD has continued to be off the charts to this day is already 4'5" at 7 1/2.
