I need to know whether all dining credits are combined when staying in a room with others.:confused3 I am hoping :worship: that they will separate them out by family. There are 4 groups of peoples:scared: staying in our room; a family of four, a family of five, a couple of two, and one lone dude:tiptoe: along for the ride.

If anyone knows whether these credits are combined - example 6 nights x 12 people = 72 of each type of eating or whether they'd be separated out if we requested that, please advise. Thanks! :)

they are combined by the room, may I ask what type of room you are staying in with so many people? You can obtain a print out of what dining credits were used and where. We stayed 3 adults and my 2 kids in a room, and I had a breakdown before we went down of what dining credits would be used and where...it helped to alleviate any confusion as to who got to use their dining credits and where...

The credits are normally combined. I don't know if the front desk could possibly separate them but would guess not.

But I have 2 questions for you:

1. What kind of room do you have that will accommodate 12 at GF or VWL?

2. Why would you share a room with liars and cheats in the first place?:crazy2: It would drive me nuts!!!!

Sounds like you are in trouble. I hope the liars & cheaters don't steal your meals.

I can attest to that possibility from personal experience. WHoever's in the room can access all the credits.

I am guessing you are in a grand villa as that allows 12. Yes all the credits will be pooled. I would guess many may not know that though. Just tell them how many credits they each get and they have to turn in their receipts at the end of the day if it is really that much of a problem. I can't imagine anyone being bold enough to just use a few extra credits if they felt like a little something more. Especially if they knew they were using someone elses.

tell which card had used the credits. The front desk could tell who had charged what to our room card. As I was confused on a charge from a store and they said it was my older sons card. He was with his dad. Solved. So they should be able to do that with your food chages.

WOW! That is a lot of people in one room! I stayed in the grand villa at BWI, and there were only 6 of us! Anyways, i suggest getting a print out each night of your credits. That is going to be crazy to keep track of! Good luck!

When he/she first posted, the signature was different. I'm pretty certain the upcoming trips were listed as GF and later VWL. VWL doesn't have GVs and I haven't read of suites at GF that would accommodate 12.:confused3 But perhaps the signature hadn't been updated for changes in plans.:confused3

Anyway good luck to the OP.

Sounds like trouble to me! Do you know these people?? If so, they should not feel obligated to eat your meals! That's a scary amount of people staying together! WOW!

:scared1: I could barely keep it straight when my DS's credits were on my mother's room. Maybe everybody should keep a written list of where and when they ate as well as how many credits used. At least there would be a semblance of accountability :goodvibes .

What a treat to see posts from the Kentucky girls!

I'm having my first DDP experience this December, but only have to keep track of four of us...though I know I'll have to watch my sister like a hawk!

If you're mixed up with a bunch of liars and cheaters, the Disney Dining Plan is the least of your problems.

Rather than just posting your question here I suggest you simply call WDW, guest services and find out your options. Your situation is not unique in wanting to separate credits by key/family.

We can react and empathize, but us DISSERs can't do a darn thing for you!

:lmao: You enjoy that family trip now, ya hear? :lmao:

The credits are tied to the room, not the card. Get your big stick and keep those inlaws in line!:rotfl2:
