Cat 9 room 1078

Can anyone tell me if Deck 1 is a good place to be? Has anyone stayed in this room? If you have please let me know if this is good or we should try to get something else.

Thanks...going March 16 for 7 nights.

I think I'd rather be on deck 1 than on deck 2 where the rest of the category 9 rooms are...I'd worry about nightclub music over my head on deck 2. The only thing I do know is those rooms have 2 smaller portholes instead of the 1 big one. There is a photo of these portholes on ******************, I believe.

I'm sure where ever you are, you'll have a wonderful trip.

I stayed on deck 2, and I was midship and it was GREAT. We weren't below any clubs, so if you can get midship, or check the floorplan layout and make sure you are not under some major social scene, you'll be glad. I"ve seen the photos of deck 1 rooms,a nd you get 2 VERY small portholes that look sort of up high where they'd be hard to see out of. the deck 2 category 9 wondow is HUGE. My 6 year old could stand up inside it,a nd it was just gigantic. So, do what you prefer, but just know the difference between your windows.

I stayed in 1072 in January and we loved the location! The portholes are "normal" sized but totally adequate to get a nice view. I wouldn't mind being on deck 1 again.

Outside staterooms on Deck 1 have two portholes that are about 12 inches in diameter each (about 1.6 total square feet of glass).

By comparison, porthole staterooms on all other decks have a single porthole that is about 36 inches in diameter (about 7.1 square feet of glass).
