Thanks to Max from The Great Movie Ride

We just got home last night from our stay at Pop. While at MGM, we, as always, rode The Great Movie Ride. Our tour driver was Max, an older gentleman who made this "old favorite" ride seem almost new again. His acting skills were wonderful and when he says the great old scenes from the movies of the '40's were favorites of his, you really believe him. For me, The Great Movie Ride is to MGM what IASW is to MK. I love it and it's a must-do ride for every trip. Max was the best tour driver we've ever had on the ride, so I just wanted to say thanks.

Yea, Great Movie Ride is one of those rides that highly dependent on it's guide's acting skills and passion. I went there last month (Sep 2007), and got this young lady as a guide who makes witty jokes, but didn't seem genuinely enthusiastic... Still enjoyable, though :thumbsup2 One of Disney's most ambitious ride.
