We are trying to do a trip next July doing the three Sea World parks and Busch Gardens. Does anyone know which pool home/town home neighborhood would be the best location? We are not going to do Disney at all. Originally, I was planning on getting a hotel in Tampa for a couple of nights, but now I am thinking we could just drive over. So I am thinking someplace close to Sea World area and I-4 would be good.
I have looked at homes in Windsor Hills and Regal Palms. Anyone know what would be the best location? Thanks.

Here is a map with the subdivisions shown:

You won't find pool home rental subdivisions near Sea World because short term rentals aren't allowed in Orange County. That's why there's so many in Kisssimmee - Osceola County and Davenport - Polk County.
You can find condo/townhouse resorts like Vista Cay near the Convention Center which is only half a mile from Sea World but longer to I -4.
Windsor Hills would be much closer to I - 4 and Sea World than Regal Palms.
I've never stayed at Regal Palms but have stayed at WH a couple of times and will be back there again in Nov. so that should tell you that we really like it there. :lmao:
There's also subdivisions around I -4 exit 58 Champions Gate area that would have easy access to I - 4 but would be a little further from Sea World.

Good luck. :)

Thanks for all the information. Windsor Hills looks like it would be the better choice. Although I like the water slide at Regal Palms better!
Any idea how long of a drive it would be to Sea World or Busch Gardens? I am still trying to decide if it is worth it to get a place in Tampa.

It would take no more than 15 min to get to Sea World ( maybe less depending on traffic)
For Busch Gardens a little over an hour, again depending on traffic especially on the Tampa end. We usually just drive over for the day, it's not too bad.
