Can someone tell me the differences between these two, and if they're located side by side?

Thanks.

Hi, I am staying for the first time might I add, at the Vistana Resort. It's location is 8800 Vistana Centre Drive

Here is a map to Vistana Villages located on 12401 International Drive

From what I have heard the Vistana Resort can be a toss up because there are nicer units, but there seems to be no guarantee of getting into one: The Cascades, Lakes, and Palms, I think are the nicer units. I have heard there is a lot to do onsite, but I spend so much time at Universal and shopping that I won't be doing any of the onsite stuff anyway.

traveladvisor is great for reviews.

Not side by side. Vistana is closer to the parks.

Villages is more consistenly high-quality, though most of the older sections at Vistana are starting renovations soon.
