Staying at VB next week! Can you tell me what is in the store?

Hi!

Just wondering what we will be able to buy (food) in the onsite store? I have stayed at BWV a few times and I am wondering if they will have about the same type of food items. I was hoping for a little more variety...:goodvibes

My son is lactose intolerent. Do they have soy milk or a lactose free milk there?

Where is the closest supermarket?

If I do use the onsite store, can I have the food delivered to my room???? How would I do this?

The gift shop has a selection of food items- everything from cereals to entenmanns muffins, ice cream, drinks,etc. I think they have some frozen entrees and meats ( like oscar Meyer) but I may be confusing it with HHI. They did not have Lactaid milk. We had to go the Publix in Sebastian, about 5-7 minutes away to get Lactaid milk! Not sure about Soy milk!:)

If you are driving to VB from MCO you'll pass a Publix on the way in. It's on Rt 512, at the corner where you turn to continue toward the resort (I forget the name of the street where you turn).

Closer to the resort there is another Publix on Rt. 1, just a few miles north of the causeway.

When you check in, you'll get a map of the area, showing the local stores, etc.

Agreed... they have a nice little slice of supermarket life, but the Publix is the place to go to get your groceries. No more than 10 minutes away.
