i'm just back from 10 days of free dining plan, i was in Pop Century so i will put a lot of pics of the food court

I like the Pop but it was too busy and need more bus
the next year i made free dining offer reservation for 2008 and the Movies

Me : 27 years, living in Lyon (France), working in bank office, very picky, i read everyday the disney dining review; take all pics, i get more than 100

Friday 7th September

No table service reservation for today because we are arriving from Las Vegas at 8 am at Pop Century.

We made the check in and i had special request for the room, i want a quiet room, no pool view in the 80's or 70's. The women called someone and we were very lucky to have a room in the 80's ready now!!!

We were in the food court to buy a mug and a cookie box with a snack credit.

After a nap we were for lunch in food court
Me : Shrimp Lo Mein - $6.99, Fruit salad and Powerade

My Lo Mein were good, a bit spicy but the portion was huge, fruit salad very light
we keept the drinks for later and use the mug.

We had dinner at Epcot in Tangierine Café, we shared counter service
Shawarma Platters - served with side of hummus, tabbouleh and Tangierine CousCous salad with fresh Moroccan bread.
Chicken & Lamb $13.95
with diet coke and baklava
i was very yummy for me the best counter service of the trip

You're from Lyon. I'll have to tell my daughter. She did her country report on France last year and Lyon was on of the places she discussed.

I can see from your pics why everyone talks about Everything Pop. That is one of the best food courts I've seen. I can't wait to see more.

Saturday 8th September

Today we are in MGM so i chose to share a counter at Toy Story Pizza Planet

Buzz's Meal Deal - Individual Cheese Pizza, with Garden Salad $7.59
Mickey's Crisped Rice Treat $2.69
Large diet coke

i find the disney's pizza average maybe too much tomatoes, the salad was good and i kept the dessert for later, it were very good

there is the simpson's bowling video game in the restaurant, so we were happy to find it and played a game

Diner was at Ohana, it's my favorite place, i made two reservation, for the first and last table service
it was better than i remember, everything was very yummy, i prefer turkey and beef, we ate all the shrimp and two times of potatoes incredible!!

In the afternoon, we took a snack at the ice cream palor in Pop Food Court, i get a three scoop ice cream, great value and very good

The dinner was Liberty Tree Tavern and we waited too long, more than 30 minutes in a loudy room, it's was horrible, i was very hungry
so no pictures of the salad who was good, i ate all the plate
after i like the turkey and beef, don't like ham too sweet for me
the mashed potatoes were good too, i don't like the vegetable too raw for french people and macaroni and cheese are strange taste

i dislike cinnamon so i asked for just ice cream for dessert
we saw all the characters and they were fun

the burger was very good and the fries so crunchy
i don't like the brownie but DH eat one and keept the second for later
very good counter service place, we were early because it can be crowded.

But beware no dessert with counter service meal

the salad was good but too much meat

For lunch, we went to Coronado Spring to try the Pepper Market, we took smoothies for drink and chicken pasta for DH. He didn't liked it, he said they were too dry and chicken too hard

Good job reporting... love the photos! We found the drive just to eat at Pepper Market not worth it. We went a few years back and have not been back since. Takes to much valuable time away from the parks... but now the Lobster looks yummy at Cap'n Jacks... might be worth the trip to Downtown Disney!

Sunday 16th September

Lunch at Pizzafari, it was very crowded, we waited maybe 20 minutes at 11.50 am

Me : Cheese Pizza - $5.59
Minute Maid Frozen Strawberry Lemonade Cup - $2.99
the pizza was better than Toy's Story Planet, more flavor
the minute maid was huge but so good; one of my favorite ice cream

DH had Hot Italian Style Sandwich with Chips - Turkey, ham, Swiss and Provolone Cheese topped with Caesar salad and pesto marinated tomatoes - $6.79
Chocolate Cake $3.59
he liked everything

Monday 17th September

The last day we are living for 4 days on International drive so we took away two lunch : Turkey Ciabatta - $6.99 and Tie-dyed Cheesecake - $3.59 for DH
and for me Fruit and Cheese - $5.49 with Yogurt - $1.99
i was a bit nervous with the cheese but they were very good, a light meal perfect!!

we left 0 credits but we were full ;-)

i will be 17-26th September in All star movies (i hope Dalmatians or Mighty Ducks) with free dining of course :thumbsup2
