Hi! I was wondering what you consider to be the best use of points for a Disney related trip. I'm not interested in hotels.

Do you wait until you build up a lot of points or do you cash out as soon as possible?

Thanks,
Carole

At my points I saved til 3000 and cashed in for a $25 webcertificate. I haven't spent it yet. You can collect webcertificates from other reward programs and they'll be lumped into one account, then you can spend online just like a mastercard or request an actual plastic card that is a mastercard to spend anywhere in the parks. I'm probably going to use mine to purchase a pair of 2 way radios.

It depends what you want. The webcertificate is probably the easiest thing to get because you can use it for so much, but if you're staying off property, or you plan to eat off property, you can get food gift certificates. If you plan on driving down, a gas card is really good. People use them for different things. I used it for movie tickets for Loews, and whenever we went to the movies I put the equivalent amount of cash into my Disney savings account. Have fun!

I do agree...depends on what you want...I used to get Target GC's from My Points, but they stopped offering them, so now I get Webbies...much easier and they can be combined in one account with other ones...

Have fun with whatever you decide on! :)

I am cashing mine out whenever I build up 1,350 points. I am collecting $10 gas cards for our trip down to WDW at the beginning of June. I have $30 so. I should have enough points to get at least one more. Every bit of $$$ helps when driving down.:D

I get gas cards. It's an easy way to save on a fixed travel expense. I also get a Rainforest Cafe gift cert. My son buys a stuffed snake each trip and DD always can find something cute here as well.
