Hi

I've stayed here before but it's been a few years and I vividly remember them not letting us checkin until 4pm. However, it was busy Presidents week.

We are planning a trip the week before Thanksgiving and we'll need a couple days at this resort before moving to the Grand Vista. My delemma-- we are flying all night on a red-eye from Seattle arriving at 7:30 am. It will be a total drag with 2 kids if they make us wait until 4. I hate to spend the extra $110 for the night before to guarantee our checkin. What'd ya think??

Thanks,
Jenn

Also, we'll have a car but do they run a shuttle to Disney?

there is a bell at the front desk - just ring it.

would you believe I didn't see this thing and though like you I would need to wait.

well some other guests arrived and they got a room. So I went back in finally noticed the bell and got one immediately.:yay:

I'm not sure I'm following you Spicey. What I mean is, are they usually good about letting your check in early on the day of your check in? In other words should I pay for the night before to be guaranteed to get in at around 9am or so? In the past, Cypress Harbour, Horizons have always been good about letting us have an early checkin when we've come in off a redeye. But, Cypress Point a few years ago made us wait until 4. Just kicking it around wondering if anyone has checked in early at CP. I know there are no guarantees depending how busy they are.

Thanks!
Jenn

I got there at 5:30am - didn't realize I could check in until 7am. not a problem checking in early. My room was ready. so don't know if your room is not ready if they will change you or not.

of course no guaranteeds.
