Is the parking lot save?

How safe is the parking lot at DCL? It looks like we will be driving from WDW.

Prior to 9/11, it was only as safe as any other public parking lot. We sailed on 5/26 and some new friends we'd made on the cruise had their van broken into. But since 9/11, they've really improved the fencing and the security around the terminal. I drove by the terminal around 4:30 on a recent Saturday, and even though the ship hadn't even sailed yet, all the gates to the parking lot were closed... even the pedestrian gate across from the terminal. So, I'd say it's as safe as anyone could reasonably expect.

I've parked there twice. A 3night and 7night cruise. Didn't have any problem. Would, no change that, will, do it again :)
