I've never tried it, but this sounded like a useful option for people wanting a taste of SF while visiting LA & Disneyland, or vice versa.

I did it recently. Took the 11:30PM from LA for a buck. Spent the day touring around SF and took the 11:30PM back for $8. I slept most of the way.

I've now booked a November trip to Vegas. Got a round trip for $2.
