I've never used a travel agent to book DLP.

DIY every time - booked my flights, then booked the hotel and park tickets through Disney direct.

You might also want to consider buying Annual Passes if you think you might be visiting DLP more than 3 days total in a year, and then booking your hotel (onsite or offsite) with either Disney, or the likes of Expedia etc.

We got a great price from leisuredirection.co.uk however be aware that they do not have real time availability on their website - I got a call the next day saying that they had no more availability in the room type we'd tried to book.

I got a similar price through iglu.com who came well recommended on another forum I visit.

In the end we booked our flights direct with thompsonfly, hotel through expedia and park tickets through 365tickets.co.uk as that worked out best for us - but the best price we had would have been via leisuredirection (and the girl on the phone was very helpful trying to sort out an alternative that worked for us).

I forgot to mention,

If you're a "standard" family ie 2 adults 2 kids, you might, at certain times of the year, get a bargain with the likes of lastminute.com too.

My sis and her family got to DLP last year, hotel (Cheyenne), 2 days hopper park tickets, and Eurotunnel crossing all included, for the equivalent of £88 each!
