Its not a show. Its a special night event. I would make sure it was on my to do list.

I have been to MNSSHP and Pirates and Princesses night. Both were excellent. On these nights MK opens from I think 7-12:00. I cant remember the times. Basically most of the rides and resturants are open. The park offers extra's i.e

* Special fireworks that I have to say have been much better than disney's wishes
* Special parade again this has been amazing. Much better than the day time parade
* Little disco's little ones can dance with characters
* Halloween had trick or treat. They would give you bag and you would line up at designated areas to get candy
* Princess party we collected beads
* Christmas one it is chocolate and cookies
* Halloween party was free face painting
* Other little extra's

Have a look here for the run down of the party. It looks amazing. I cant wait.

I love MVMCP, it is well wroth the money as the parade is lovely to see and on Main Street they have snow, which looks lovely with all the twinkling lights. You also get a hot chocolate and cookie!

It's just soooo Christmassy!

We did MVMCP in December 2005 and really enjoyed it :)

It does take some planning and timing to get to see all the shows, parade and get your free cookies and photo :) But the atmosphere is really nice, especially during the Christmas Parade on Main Street with snow falling :)

Check out the Christmas Events pages on the main DIS site for more details:

MVMCP nights do sell out, so if you have a specific night in mind it's best to book early :)

I went in 2005 and will do so again. If you have never seen it, then I would say you dont' want to miss it(if you can afford it).... but we felt after doign it in 2005, we skipped 2006. I plan it on our last night... so we can stay in the parks till after midnight. From 11pm on, the lines are nonexistent. We rode its a small world without even get out of the boat, over... and over... and over.... and over.

I think we managed to see almost everything apart from the Twas' the Night Before Christmas show. But we managed to see this later during Christmas week during the day. (It's the only time you see Minnie in bed with Mickey! LOL).

When you get into MVMCP you get a program, so check the timings of the shows, parades and fireworks etc.. Some events are repeated during the evening (like the parade), so with a bit of planning you should get to see most of the special events and get to enjoy a few rides with minimal lines :)

We also have done Pirates night and MNSSHP. If they are anything to go on then teh Xmas parties will be well worth going to. If you can get an AP discount they are fantastic value.
We Love Xmas time at WDW but can never go before Xmas day so we miss the parties, I wish they would continue thru to New Year.

We did it last year and are seriously considering going again this year.:thumbsup2 It fels very Christmassy and although the cookies are not that nice the chocolate is okay. But to be honest its not about the cookies etc, it is about the kids, big and small, having a great time.
