I'm about 8 miles from Nuneaton and although a bit wet this morning there was nothing else to suggest a tornado was close!

I only heard this on the news a while ago, but at 6.15 am we were all woken by torrential rain and noise like a train going by. I jokingly said to DH that there was a hurricane, but never believed for one moment that a tornado had gone by. There was some trees uprooted about 1/2 a mile away and there was debis everywhere - but thankfully it didn't affect us

Mandy :)

There are loads of trees down here. I heard the worst wind I have ever heard that lasted for about 15 minutes at 6am.
