We won something!

We were at Epcot this past Friday and there was a man in the khaki shorts/light blue shirt by the boat ramp saying "it's a great day for a boat ride". I looked over and there was no one waiting on the boat ramp, and there were four dream team members. We were planning to take the boat anyway, so went down there. About 2 other families came in line after us. When the boat arrived they let all the people off it and then told all of us in line that we were "in the right place at the right time" and we all got the Year of a Million Dreams lanyard with 2 special edition pins on it!

Not a huge one, but we were excited!

Missed a second dream sort of....we were standing on the bridge in Epcot that goes over to France, just resting and a CM came up to us and asked if we were staying for the fireworks. We said, no we didn't think so and he said "oh that's too bad, I was going to give you a ticket to sit down in the lower level section where you can see really well". And he walked away! We were so mad at ourselves!

We saw TONS of people at Epcot with Dream Fastpass lanyards....I really wanted one just for a souvenier! Saw the Dream Team several times, but usually DH would not wait around to see what they were doing!

Lily.....I think I was on that same freindship boat as you!!!!! We were collecting pressed pennies around the world when the dream team member suggested we take the boat. We were a family of 6, myself, my sister, my mom and my son 17 my niece 7 and nephew 5.

Hi Teresa! Could be the same boat! We sat in the back on the outside part once we got on the boat....thought it would be nice to get some breeze, but it was just hot!

I was laughing about one man who was getting on and saying to his daughter "so is this a good thing we just got?" :rotfl2:

We just returned. Friday we went to MGM. Went on Star Tours and there some cast members hanging around dressed differently. I told my dh that they were part of the YOMD and they must be waiting to choose a particular family. Anyway, we proceeded to board our Star Tours cabin and who came in at the end.....the YOMD cast members. We all won hats. It was SO neat!

We get off there and proceed to the Muppets only to be stopped as we're walking in with about 5 other people. Again, the YOMD cast members come walking to our group and Congratulate us as we won MGM Fast Pass Lanyards for the day! It was AWESOME! Made our day!

Yeah for you!! We won twice. Never thought we'd recieve anything!! But first time around we recieved the dream FP at MK while waiting early in the day. Then once again at Epcot while entering the Figment line. We were hot, tired and my daughter just loves him. And boom there they were. So we once again recieved dream FP. We did recieve small things here and there that we smiled and were very happy about besides this. It was a wonderful experience to say the least. :-)

You ALWAYS say YES even if you are unsure!!!! You never know!

Well, part of the reason we didn't know to say yes was that this was not a dream team member who approached us. We thought he was just going to yell at us to get off the bridge like they did when we were on the curb in MK for the parade!
