Do you have to wait until you board the ship, or can you call in advance to book a reservation?
Thanks!!

Hi Kim and Chris! Unless you purchase a special package with American Express that includes pre-booking Palo, you have to wait until you board the ship. :)

Unless you have a specific package that may include pre-booking Palo, you will book it once on board. Check your navigator as soon as you board the ship, and go to the designated areas for Palo and/or Spa ressie's apx 15-20 minutes BEFORE the posted starting time.

Except for a few packages, like the romantic escape, you have to wait until you board to schedule Palos. Most people list that as the first place to hit.

Definately get there 15-20 minutes BEFORE the time in the Navigator. I arrived 15 minutes early and already found a line which was much longer by the time I left.
The first day involves ALOT of running from place to place if Palo and spa ressies are important to you. It's worth it though!

Here's something we discovered when we sailed last spring. As you board the ship, they have a CM standing near the hallway to go forward to the lounge area where you book Palo's ressies. It's like Studio 54, and you ain't getting past the velvet ropes. They're funnelling everybody to the aft lifts, and that's fine, if you're adventuresome. We stopped at the room, dropped the carry-on, I checked the meal tix for our rotation and headed forward on our deck, all the way to the fore lifts. Take them down to the lounge level, and you're in like Flynn. I think I was third in line. If anybody says anything, or looks at you funny (but they won't) just act confused and lost. Works every time.
