Yesterday I started a thread about a problem between my friends. So I thought I would make another one that everyone can post on. If your having friend problems and need advice or you just want to vent, post here. (Kinda like the Girl Thread) Anyone and everyone can ask/answer questions. Need advice about someone on the Dis? Just PM I'd be happy to listen. :goodvibes

well i guess i wouldn't mind venting for a bit about one of my friends. My best friend for some reason ever since senior year started has become a total self-centered brat! im so tired of her making fun of my other friends and then prob making fun of me behind my back too. its just so annoying and me and my friends have gone off on her so many times already and she just doesn't get it. shes making all of my friends fight. its getting out of control. uggggg. i dont know what else to do :confused3

I can sort of relate. I have two friends that a lot of people don't like. I defene them both and for the most part they leave it alone. I think you shoud really sit her down and explame to her that she hurts your feeling when you talk about your other friends. Then tell her that by making fun of them she is also making you not trust her. Thats all I think you can really do in this situation. If she still doesn't stop, maybe she isn't really worth it. :confused3

My best friend says mean things right in front of me...and then she says sorry. I don't like it at all.

I think you should talk to your friend about it.

I'm not in a fight with my friend (i'll call her K) but she really annoyed me at the football game on thursday.
All of my friends know I like this guy. His name is ryan. And each and everyone of my friends knows this. They have for 3 years.
So were on the band bus to the football game. And my friend M had face paint crayons. She always brings them and we draw stuff on our faces. Like OC and go raiders, etc.
So my friend K decides to write her fav. football players # on her face. Lets guess whos # it was.....Ryan's!! She said she is writing his number on her face and I was like k, you know whos # that is. And shes like yeah Ryans. I just looked at her. I felt betrayed and afraid that she liked Ryan. The she says she is only writing his # because her mom and his are friends. And I highly dbout that because her mom like never leaves the house (i know this for a fact) K never wrote a # on her face before. it just got me mad. Vent Over. lol

VENT:

Ok, a few days ago a "person" started being all mean. I wanted pics of a panda for my avatar and the person told me to find it myself. I told her i tried and, well then, she was like " are you trying to get someone to do it FOR you?" i said "no" and that i just needed help. There is more, but this is enough for tonight.

Well, first of all I don't think you should be realy bad at her. I knoqw you are hurt but you can't stop someone from havig feelings for another person. My friend got mad at me for liking the same guy as her once and he didn't like her. Now me and the guy are better friends then her and him ever were. As long as she does nothing to sabotage your relationship with him I think you should just let it go. Chances are she will find another guy she likes even more soon. :goodvibes Hope that helped at least a little.

Advice: Okay I am going to guess this is about someone on the TB. They should not have reacted this way, you were just asking for help but there is really nothing you can do. Hopefully they will see this and no you are upset and maybe they will do the right thing and apologize. If you want to go more indepth you can PM if you don't want to post it for everyone to see.

This goes for everyone: If you ever want to talk about soemthing that for whatever reason you are not comfortable talking about infront of everyone just PM or someone else who gives advice on the thread.

Ok well first I think you should stop telling her who you like. I understand she is your best friend but you obviously can't trust her. Next, tell your friend (the guy) that he could wind up getting hurt. If he doesn't believe you give him examples. Also, talk to your friend and when she asks "what did I do?" tell her everything she has done. If she doesn't listen to you, make her. I hope this helps.

Well thats also something that i learned is to never tell her who i like or anyone who i have ever talked to but its just crazy if i go "Hey robby" or something the next thing i know their going out...
i try to make her listen and then she starts crying and saying "Its because im going deaf...Your angry at me? because im going ...deaf?" and she isnt going deaf i know for a well fact that she isnt...and if i say hi to her she completely ignores me...i thought she was my friend but i really have to say she is becoming like my enemy and i try and tell her to think about who shes going out with first but...i cant stop her because shes pretty and never ever ever has she ever gotten rejected by a boy before. So hopefully someday i can talk to my friend and tell him everything that happened and end it with a "Just be careful and try to remember waht i told you"

The whole deaf thing makes no sense to me. Not how your explaining it, but how she could even use that as an excuse:confused: . Lol. Anyway, I don't know if your comfortable doing this but maybe you could go to the guidance counsleor and then they can set up meeting with you and your friend. That way, the counsleor is there if things start to ge tout of control. I think it would help you guys be hones twith eachother and really get to the roots of your problems. **Being pretty does not give you the right to hurt your friends, and having a bunch of boyfriends does not make you better, just remember that**

Ms.Squeakers

Why totally! You never can have the power or the rights to do something that mean hearted. Even if you are pretty you still dont have the rights.

Well the whole deaf thing is pretty weird... I try saying hi to her and she ignores me so on aim im like "Hi!" and then she doesnt answer so i get ticked and then when i get sad and say like "where did the old you go?" then she starts blaming it on her going deaf...idk where it came from but its annoying...

also i dont think its worth going to a counsler for because she will automatically make me look stupid or something. She is one sneaky girl, I think i just need to avoid her at all times unless she comes to me (which she never does which i dont call it a friendship if everytime we have a conversation is because i say "Hey guess what"..)
"Whatever will be shall be its destiny...or not..."- cora corman ;)

thanks for the advice

I think you should talk to her at least one last time. I'm not saying you have to be her friend, but if you ignore her she may "make you look stupid" another way. Just talk to her anad tell he you don't want to be her friend anymore. I hope my advice helped you a little.

Need to vent! I only heard from my friends once all summer, they ignored me half of last year, then they got mad at me for asking if they were mad at me! I left something at one of their houses and she got all snotty about it, I told another friend what my sister had overheard her saying and she told her, then she yelled at me for gossiping about her during lunch! Reeeally mad!

No problem! :)

Well if you ask me, they aren't very good friends. If you want to talk to them, I wouldn't mention it is school. I would call one of them (if its a group of people) and talk to them about how you feel. Then, you can either call the other people or you can ask all of them to come over so you can talk about what happened. They might have an excuse and they might not. A similar thing happened to my friend recently. Her friends (also my friends) started ignoring her and when I questioned them about it they gave me answers you would get from a 4 year old. A simple thing to say to your friend about the gossiping comment:

"Well if you would talk to, me I wouldn't have to talk about you during lunch."

Hopefully this helps. :confused3 :goodvibes
