Yeah, I usually go for a long weekend with my dd's during F&W but they are in middle school now and too busy. HA, nothing like kids messing up my vacation plans:( So I gave up on the fall trip and invested my time and effort into planning a super Easter Trip.
Long story short, dh has been traveling alot and with school now in full swing as well as my work and all the kids "extras" he suggested I think about a solo long weekend trip, what a guy:)
Somehow I found a weekend without any extra committments and started to poke around to see what I could find. In just a few hours I booked a studio at SSR with a great AP rate and $100 free dining card. Found reasonable airfare on SWA and invited my SIL from just outside of Tampa to join me for a night.
Tentative plan is to arrive and head to DTD with my SIL to shop and probably visit one of our fav's Ragland Road. Sat will be a leisurly am at the resort and then over to Epcot for the F&W. Sil will leave early Sunday so I have Sun & Mon on my own.
