1st off im so glad i found this site. Ive been in the navy for 15 years now and our 10th anniversary is coming up in may. Im flying my wife's parents in from the oversea for 2 month visit. Im currently writing this from a tent in the middle of africa, fighting off giant bugs(think i discover some new speices..lol) and bats, and on a 1k bit speed dish(go high tech military...lol). So im planning to take the whole family to WDW and wondering if anyne have any great ideas on what i can do for our 10th anniversary?

In the Navy for 15 years - WOW!! Thank you so much for your many years of service!
Anyway, a great thing to do is an Illuminations cruise. Although they tend to be expensive, I've found other DISers to come with us and share the cost. There's nothing like seeing Illuminations from the water!
Another thought is a carriage ride. I've done the one in Ft. Wilderness and it was nice.
I'm sure you'll get lots more responses as others chime in!! :goodvibes

So where is your family at back here in the States?? This is a wonderful thing you are planning for your family!
Just a suggestion, you might want to post this over on the theme park and strategies board for more responses :)
Good luck!

Here are a few ideas:
makes sure you mention when making the reservation that you are going to celebrate your 10th anniversary -- for everything, every restaurant etc ... you might (I stress the might) get a free cupcake or what-not.
Stop into the "town Hall" on main street in the Magic Kingdom and ask for a "celebration button" each. All of the C.M. will want to know what you are celebrating and you can beam as you share!
If you are there long enough, walk down to beach at the Poly resort and watch the fireworks from there -- very romantic (and free)
Do lots of research to figure out which kind of food you want and plan where to go that will make everyone happy (at least one meal)
OH and last, realize that it is never enough time so slow down and enjoy without stressing to go see "just one more thing"
