I am at a loss. I need some ideas on how to surprise my family with tickets to MVMCP. I'm posting here because my initial thought was to create some sort of card to be presented to my family at breakfast the day of the party. This now seems so....what's the word....blah. I'm hoping for some help from the creativiy gurus out there!

Can you make it into some kind of puzzle and they get a piece of the puzzle each day leading up to the big day? Or maybe a treasure hunt kind of thing with clues???
I know someone here will come with some great ideas...:)

When we have done something special, I have used the puzzle pieces and each year we do a treasure hunt for our Easter baskets!
I think the Puzzle piece a day would be thrilling for the kids each morning... Maybe do something along the line of a character or two in costume and than the last few pieces would be the date and MVMCP!!!
Can't wait to see what others think of..

Pinata. Put them inside along with the normal stuff. Have impromptu costume party for dinner and let them whack the pinata and then let them read the tickets. A whole bunch of surprises in one day. :woohoo:

Oh a pinata sounds fun!
I had an acquaintance telling me the story about her son's 3rd birthday.. she filled a pinata.... kids were whacking it... all the sudden the kids start freaking out... there is red dripping from the pinata.... OMG! She realized that she had put juice boxes in the pinata for the kids to whack and the kids thought it was a real animal.. She said she never held a birthday party again!

We both must have the same sense of humor - I laughed too. Hopefully those kids aren't turned off of Pinata's forever though.

Can't you just imagine years from now - someone telling their therapist about killing an animal at a birthday party - stunted for life :rotfl:

Thank you all for the great ideas! The puzzle piece a day is great...and easy enough to do. I love the juice box in the pinata story...I laughed too! Not sure how I would get it on the plane though without DH knowing about it. He does not know about the tickets either :rolleyes1
Any one else have any ideas????
