We are a family of 4 ~ Mom, Dad and 2 dd's (ages 11 & 15) so we're all "adults" on the ddp.
We stayed at Pop Century for 10 nights Aug. 24-Sept.3. This was our 3rd time on the free dining plan (4th time in total using ddp). We booked it last Dec. when we stayed at POFQ, so it was part of the "bounceback" offer.
We also booked bounceback again with free dining for next Sept. for dh and I ALONE to celebrate my 40th b-day. party: :bday: - can you tell I'm excited about that? :yay:  :cool1:
Anyway, I won't be too wordy - I know you all want to see the pictures, so here goes ...
Here are some from our CP breakfast. They knew my birthday was coming up and so decorated our table. How sweet!!
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07409.jpg
This includes a "made to order" omelet (cheese & bacon) and 2 kinds of yummy potatoes, banana bread and other "obvious" items...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07413.jpg
Assorted breads & cheeses that we all shared from. My favorite was the raspberry crumb cake ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07412.jpg
Next up is another bacon & cheese "made to order" omelet and bacon (duh!) and breakfast lasagna. I know many people rave about the breakfast lasagna, but I didn't care for it. Sorry!
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07411.jpg
And of course, the adorable and "almost too cute to eat" Pooh waffle ...

More to come, we still have 36 ddp credits to share with you!!!

Next up is the always delicious Beaches & Cream at Disney's Beach Club resort. We LOVE this place. It always has friendly servers and scrumptious desserts. So we will begin with the most important part of this meal ... ice cream!! :thumbsup2
I love banana splits, but I almost never get one because they are usually too expensive and too big for one. However, being on the FREE ddp, I splurged. AND OH MY was I glad I did. This was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good!!! I'm drooling on the keyboard right now just thinking of it.
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07399.jpg
Next up was everyone else's dessert. Even though mine was by far the best. ;)
Vanilla milkshake for dd11 ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07398.jpg
DD15 and DH got the same thing ... fudge mudslide ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07397.jpg
Now I know the "regular" food isn't nearly as exciting, but here it is ...
Bacon cheeseburger with fries (and Mickey to show it off :) ) ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07394.jpg
Chicken sandwich with cheese ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07393.jpg
A repeat of the bacon cheeseburger ... one was a double, the other a single patty ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07392.jpg
Chicken sandwich plain ...

Well, if my Beaches & Cream pics made you drool too, they don't accept ressies, so you just "pop" in there. Personally, I'd be satisfied to eat there every meal. :rotfl:
We often go for lunch as the wait time is MUCH less at lunch than at dinner. The place is tiny, but popular!
The ESPN Club on the Boardwalk also is on ddp and doesn't take ressies. We also found coupons online for Planet Hollywood and one is for a free "front of the line" access which we used and then used ddp credits there. So again, no ressie needed. It can work if you don't get a chance to make a lot of ressies. ENJOY! I wish I could go with you. :)

OOOOOOOOOOOOPS ... I got so caught up in the ice cream at Beaches & Cream that I totally forgot we had appetizers too. Silly me! :lmao:
Us 3 girls all got the onion rings. They were typical WDW onion rings, which we just so happen to LOVE! You'll see them as a recurring theme in this report. :rolleyes1
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07381.jpg
DH got the chili and we all had a taste. It was GOOD!

Now introducing WCC at the WL. This is an all-time family favorite of ours.
DD11 realized she loves these WDW sticky wings. She got them several times during our trip and loved them ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07367.jpg
I had the nachos, which is now called the "Western Chips". WCC has recently changed their menu and the nachos have changed significantly. I didn't think I'd like the "new" nachos, but they were in fact really, really tasty! Change can be good! :scared:
The sauce accompanying the chips is a spicy cheese sauce which was YUMMY!!!
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07366.jpg
DD15 tried the new cheese & sausage (and pickle :upsidedow) plate. This was also delicious!
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07365.jpg
And of course, the always succulent and fabulous WCC cornbread!!! LOVE this stuff!!! Apparently Mickey loves it also. See the way he is "eyeing" it!
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07363.jpg
Us 3 ladies had the "all you can drink" milkshakes ... vanilla and chocolate. And DH "winked" at our server and asked for a "LARGE" diet coke and this is what he got (and wanted) ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07356.jpg
For entrees, we had the new shrimp dinner ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07374.jpg
which DH said was "okay." It was hard to peel them all. It took FOREVER too.
I had the ribs dinner, which I didn't like (too fatty and not "barbeque" tasting enough for me) ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07369.jpg
DD15 got the chicken pasta, which is her standard favorite at WCC ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07368.jpg
DD11 got the broasted chicken dinner with fries instead of whatever potatoes usually come with it ... this is her standard favorite at WCC ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07370.jpg
My standard favorite here USED to be the steak. I missed it this time around as it's no longer on the menu.
And last, but certainly NOT least is dessert! Of course by this time, we were ready to waddle out of WL, but we didn't say "NO" to dessert. We're not idiots!! ;)
The banana dustbowl ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07388.jpg
The smores cheesecake ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07387.jpg
The carmel apple pie ala mode ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07386.jpg
Of course we cannot forget the oodles of ketchup bottles that we had at our table for like 2.2 seconds (the minute we got them, they were summoned away by another table). We all grabbed some before they left though ... I love this about WCC! Also because it was my birthday, they made my dd11 ride the pony around the restaurant singing "happy birthday to Mom" - that was awesome!!! :thumbsup2
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07378.jpg
I promise more, but alas it is bedtime as I still have jet-lag from our CA trip this past weekend! Sorry and good-night for now!

Thanks for sharing with us your reviews and AMAZING PHOTOS. Your making me so so hungry right now. We visited WDW in February of this year and had to cancel our ADR for WCC but we're going back next February and I've made an ADR for there already. Sounds like a fun place to eat and I'm sure our DS9 will enjoy it also. He loves ketchup. :) Did you eat at any Character Breakfasts while you were there? I'd like to eat at one but haven't decided which one yet. I'm looking for ideas. It won't be a princess one as our son wouldn't be too thrilled I'm sure with that. Also, how lucky to be able to go again by yourselves! I look forward to that day someday. Hoping maybe for our 25th anniversary in a couple of years. Oh well. Thanks again for sharing with us. I can't wait to read more!

I have time for one more quick review before going to work. We attended the Pirates & Princess party on Fri. Aug. 31.
Side note - we originally had tickets for the P & P party on Fri. Aug. 24, the night we arrived. However, when we arrived, it was POURING and storming. We got all ready for the party and took the bus to MK. We had made an ADR for Concourse Steakhouse before the party and ate dinner there. The entire time we ate there, it poured and stormed. After dinner, we took the monorail back to MK and were so disappointed that it was still pouring and storming. We never in a million years thought we could exchange our tickets, but we noticed a huge line at the ticket area at MK and starting asking people in line what they were doing. We found out they were allowing people to exchange their tickets for another night. Since we had 10 more nights in front of us, we got in line, switched our tickets and went back to Pop to dry out and get settled in. GOOD DECISION in the long run as the next Friday night was beautiful!! :wizard: I love Disney!
Sorry to digress from the food! When we finally got back to the Pirate and Princess party the next Friday, we grabbed a quick dinner at Cosmic Ray's and then later smoothies from Auntie Gravity's.
Here are our dinners from Cosmic Ray's. Three of us had the chicken strips and one had the chicken/ribs combo. We all had the yummy pre-packaged chocolate cake (I do really love that cake!).

http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07337.jpg
Here's a picture of our dd's dressed up for the party. All 3 of us girls wore matching "Will Turner" shirts. They were a HUGE hit. People kept telling us how much they loved our shirts. I had to say though that when we visited Captain Jack, he was not thrilled about our choice and reminded us that Will is spoken for. :rotfl:

We had breakfast at Boma. We had never eaten here before, but WE WILL BE BACK!!! I think it was one of my favorite meals of the entire trip.
Our server here was fabulous also!!
First up is our fabulous award for winning the daily trivia contest. I don't remember exactly what the question was, but something about if Africa was the largest continent. We totally guessed, but I guess we guessed good enough. :) We wore our proud awards most of the day.

Oh, I have to tell you one funny thing that happened here. My DH was snapping pictures of the buffet when a fellow patron looked at him like he was from outer space and said "Sir, why are you taking pictures of the fruit?"
:lmao: :rotfl:
Some people just don't understand!
Here are the special drinks they brought for my birthday. They also sang Happy Birthday to me in one of the African languages (maybe Swahilli - I know I'm not spelling that correctly ... sorry!). It was beautiful. The woman who sang had an angelic voice. It was a nice treat! Plus, the drinks were delicious!!!!!!!!!!! The pink one is raspberry ... sooooooo yummy! The other one is mango and none of us liked that one.
This picture shows the raspberry one and "frunch" which we didn't care for (actually dd15 liked it).
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07307.jpg
This one is the mango one.
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07308.jpg
We also just HAD to go downstairs to Mara and get zebra domes! YUMMY!!!

Awesome report and pics. Like that you included a "hidden Mickey".
I am glad you posted pictures of Boma b'fast. We are going in Nov. on my DH's b'day. The rest of the group went there 2 yrs ago and I couldn't remember what all they had. I feel better about choosing it for him now. I really wanted him to see the AKL. DH wasn't able to come with us the time we stayed there. We ate both b'fast and dinner when we stayed there. He is not too adventurous so I though b'fast would be safer.

http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07292.jpg
The first is my snack - a mickey rice krispy treat covered in milk chocolate with reese's pb cups and butterfinger and drizzled with milk chocolate again. It was quite delicious and what a bargain for 1 snack credit!!
I had a few bites and then dd11 finished it for me (isn't she sweet!!!). She's the one who said at Goofy's "No, I don't want to make a treat" and then ate most of mine. :) What us Mom's do for our little princesses, huh?

These are from Wolfgang Puck Express. We actually ate here twice on this trip we loved it so much. DD15 and I ate here alone one day when DD11 and DH went to Disney Quest and she and I had a shopping day! :woohoo:
These pictures are from the second time we ate here, when all 4 of us ate together here. The first time around, I got the bbq chicken quesedilla and I got it again the second time. Yes, it was that good!
The first time around, DD15 got chicken strips and subbed mac & cheese. The second time around, they would not allow this substitution. It just goes to show that different cm's really do allow different things. :confused3
DH got the roast beef sandwich ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07289.jpg
Here's my YUMMY, super-delicious, scrumptious bbq chicken quesedilla ... can you tell I liked it? It's dinner time as I'm writing this and I'm craving this right now!!
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07288.jpg
DD11 got the mac & cheese and declared it the best she's ever eaten! I even tried some. I HATE mac & cheese, but this was delicious and soooooo cheesy!
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07287.jpg
DD15 got the bbq chicken sandwich, which she loved too! All this food was so good!!
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07286.jpg
All 4 of us got the brownie for dessert. I guess we didn't take pictures of it. It was large and gooey though.

Okay, several times when we'd get back late to Pop, we would wait in the LONG :rolleyes1 line for ice cream.
For a sundae at Pop, you get 3 ... count 'em now ... 3 scoops of ice cream and they can all be different if you want and then your choice of toppings and choice if you want whip cream, nuts, etc. It's ice cream heaven!!!!!! And the cm's working there were SO nice. We were getting to be good friends by the 3rd time. :cool2:
My favorite sundae was with strawberry, chocolate & cookies & cream ice cream and hot fudge with whipped cream. SOOOO good!:yay:
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07249.jpg
DH seemed to favor the cookies & cream ice cream (all 3 scoops - no sense of variety at all) and hot fudge, whipped cream, nuts, sprinkles and a cherry!
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07250.jpg

AND, last but certainly NOT least ... MY Pop nachos. These were so good!! In fact, I was the LAST person to be served nachos that night as that section was closing down at 10pm and so I was glad I made it. WHEW!!! I don't know what I would have done without my Pop nachos :scared1:
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07245.jpg

Because I liked this dish SOOOOO much, I'm going to give you another look - closer up this time. :lmao:
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07141.jpg
Here's the BORING old onion rings that everyone else had ... As you can see, even Mickey turned his back on these. :rotfl:
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07145.jpg
Onto the entrees ...
I had the chicken sandwich with those yummy little onion straws and barbeque sauce. DH had the bacon cheeseburger and we went "halfsies" like we often do so we can enjoy some of everything!
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07149.jpg
Why is Mickey hiding behind this sandwich??? :confused3
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07147.jpg
Oh, there he is!!!!
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07148.jpg
Our server gave DH and I this at our table (the girls sat in front of us). I think he secretly liked us better than the kids, but don't tell them that. :goodvibes
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07144.jpg
You can also see the "glow" from my genuiune cherry coke in the background of that picture. It was very, very cherry-tasting and GOOD! :cheer2:
We all had the hot fudge sundaes for dessert. They were really good too, but for some reason we didn't take pictures of them. Sorry!:guilty:

Okay, here comes Kona Cafe at the Polynesian.
First the chocolate Lilo and Stitch ... Hawaiian style!
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07134.jpg
Our appetizers ...
DD11 got the sticky wings. This was her 3rd time getting this appetizer in one week. She is a girl who when she finds something she likes, she "sticks" to it. Get it!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07120.jpg
You can see her strawberry-banana smoothie in the background too.
DH had the crab cakes. He liked them.
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07121.jpg
I had the pot stickers and didn't like it, so DH actually got 2 appetizers.
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07119.jpg
DD15 opted for the "normal" chicken noodle soup. She was not feeling adventurous at this meal.
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07118.jpg
All 3 of us girls had the smoothies ... 2 strawberry banana and 1 raspberry. Here they all are:
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07117.jpg
For entrees, I had the beef teriyaki and ordered it well done. It was pretty pink inside. DH had the filet mignon. He and I traded actually because I liked his better and his was truly well done. The mashed potatoes with his were really good too.
Filet mignon:

Beef teriyaki:
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07125.jpg
DD11 got the pan asian pasta, ordered more "plain" than how it usually comes.
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07124.jpg
DD15 who as I said above, was not feeling her normal adventurous self this meal, ordered the chicken entree with rice as plain as it comes and she still didn't like it. This was also the evening of her "back home" boyfriend's 16th birthday, so we think she was missing him a bit that night.
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07122.jpg
Now the best part ... dessert!!!
DD11 and I had the kiddie cone. I ate every last bite. It was heavenly!!!! There's even proof in the picture. This dessert is surrounded by a cloud! :rotfl:
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07137.jpg
DH and DD15 both had the apple brown betty. Even though I'm thoroughly convinced my dessert was FAR superior, DH declared that "he loved this dessert."

Wonderful reviews and pictures! Sorcerer Mickey is a nice touch. :)
Thanks! He was a souvenior from several years ago. He was actually part of a bottle topper they used to sell at WDW. DH wanted him as his birthday gift that year and we just kept him. He now "presents" our dinner at every WDW meal. He even seems to have opinions of his own sometimes. :lmao:
Wow - Goofy's Candy Co. is calling my name. I have been reading a lot of good things about WPE . Our trips are shorter than most peoples .We don;t usually make it to DTD but this trip we may have to make an exception!!!
Do you know how late both are open?

Next up was my FAVORITE meal of the week ... Concourse Steakhouse. I haven't seen a lot of reviews of this place here, but I thought the steak was exceptional.
First they do allow smoothies here on the ddp for drinks. Us 3 girls got them (DH is not a "fruity" kind of guy ~ thank goodness ~ and prefers diet coke).
One was called "Bay Lake Surprise" and it was surprisingly good. :lmao:
The other is a virgin strawberry daiquiri ... I liked the fresh strawberry they added to the drink. It was sweet and delicious and a nice touch in my opinion.
Bay Lake Surprise ...

Virgin strawberry daiquiri ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07430.jpg
For appetizers, 3 of us got the onion rings, which came with 3 dipping sauces.
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07436.jpg
And DD11 got the "say it with me now" sticky wings ~ actually called "honey wings" here (3rd time this trip) ... It's funny though how they were slightly different at each place. She loved them all though. :thumbsup2
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07435.jpg
For entrees, both girls got the chicken pasta and loved it!!!
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07437.jpg
DH and I each got the ribeye steak. His with baked potato and mine with fries (our server said we could get any potato choice with the steak that they carried) ... We both ordered them well done and it comes with this barbeque sauce on it. It was absolutely the best steak I've ever eaten.
If you'd ever had the ribeye at Texas Roadhouse, this is what it tasted like, except better because of the barbeque sauce on it. My mouth is watering just remembering this meal. :yay:
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07439.jpg
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07438.jpg
Now it was dessert time. I only hate half of my steak, not because it wasn't YUMMY, but because I was already so full, I thought I'd burst. PLUS, I did want to save just a tiny bit of tummy room for dessert ... my favorite part of the meal.
DH got the butterfinger cheesecake ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07446.jpg
OMG ... this was heavenly! I had 2 bites of his and I wanted to gobble down the rest of it. Luckily I love DH and my self-control kicked in - partially due to the fact that I was so full.
However, DD15 and I were the ones who were GREEN with envy this time.
All 3 of us girls got the chocolate cake. DD11 declared it "the best chocolate cake" she'd ever eaten.
DD15 and I were less than thrilled. It was sickeningly rich. Now if you like really rich, deep chocolate tasting cake, this will be PERFECT for you. However, if you're like me and DD15 who like our chocolate, but prefer milk chocolate and not such a rich tasting chocolate, then PICK the butterfinger cheesecake.
I definitely had dessert envy at this meal!! But that delicious steak made up for it. I almost wished our server hadn't taken my half eaten steak away, because I think I would have passed on my chocolate cake for more steak.

Okay, next up is Planet Hollywood. DH and I had planned an "alone" dinner for later in the week at LeCellier and so we knew we'd be "off" 2 credits somewhere along the line and so we asked if we could share 2 credits among the 4 of us here and they said "no problem, people do it all the time."
Now I must say, this is the only sit-down meal where we shared this year. In the past, we've shared a lot. This time though, with 40 ddp credits, we just knew sharing would mean more meals and how could we possibly eat more meals. So this was our sharing limit this year. We did share at a few counter service meals though so we could add a few counter service breakfasts.
Anyway, we forgot to take pictures of our appetizers. SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please forgive me and don't give up on reading my dining report. I'll try to do better later.
For appetizers though, DH and DD11 split the sliders, which were mini cheeseburgers. DD15 and I split the potato skins. They were loaded with cheese, bacon and sour cream and they were G-O-O-D!!!
For entrees, DD15 and I split the bacon cheeseburger and we simply didn't take a picture of it because we didn't think it would be interesting. Again, SORRY!
DD11 and DH split the chicken fajitas and YES, we took a picture!!!
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07448.jpg
For dessert, all 4 of us split the chocolate brownie ice cream thing. OMG ... this was sinfully delicious ... ENJOY and please try to limit the drooling on your keyboard.
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07449.jpg
Even though we were stuffed after sharing 2 meals, I could have eaten one of these desserts ALL BY MYSELF! :woohoo:

Okay, so one night we're leaving MK and we pass Main St. Bakery. We are WAY too full to eat anything then, but we decide to take some things home with us for breakfast the next morning.
The items still tasted delicious, but didn't "travel" super well.
Up first is the wonderfully tasty & HUGE cinnamon roll ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07467.jpg
I had the chocolate fudge bundt cake. REALLY good!!!!! Not really a breakfast type food, but who cares! ;)
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07466.jpg
Then we have the double chocolate muffin and the crumb cake. DD15 LOVES the Main St. bakery crumb cake and gets it every trip.

I do have to add that Main St. Bakery was the ONLY place where we encountered any kind of problem/confusion with the dining plan.
I think most people use snack credits here and I wanted to use 2 counter service meals (getting 2 items and 1 drink for 1 cs meal). It was the day before we were to go home and we had an overabundance of cs meals left and I wanted to "save" our snack credits for items we could take home with us.
I told the cm here that we wanted to use 2 cs credits and she told me I couldn't. I told her that we'd done that several times before there and then I nicely suggested that if she wasn't sure if this was allowed, perhaps we could talk to a supervisor to ask them. Then she did allow me to do it.
I didn't want to be nasty about it, but I also wanted to use the plan the way it worked best for me and I knew from past experience this was allowed.
Has anyone else used cs here OR had a problem doing it here??

On our Animal Kingdom day, we ate lunch at Pizzafari. It was good. We got ...
Some kind of italian sandwich (DH got this and liked it) ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07044.jpg
A parmesean chicken sandwich.
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07043.jpg
2 pizzas and another chicken parmesean sandwich. They messed up something and gave us 2 of these sandwiches when we only ordered one. When we said something, they said they couldn't take it back (obviously) and so we got a "bonus" sandwich, which was kind of nice because it was DELICIOUS!!!
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07041.jpg
We had also used a snack credit for breadsticks. With the extra sandwich though, this wound up being WAY more food than we could eat and I felt bad that quite a bit of it got thrown away.
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07042.jpg
The sandwiches came with chips too and so we put those in our backpack with intentions to eat them later, but we never did, so they got thrown out later too.
For dessert, 3 of us got the chocolate cake (pictured in the top picture with the italian sandwich), which was yummy. DD15 got the frozen lemonade, which I know she enjoyed in HOT August.

DD11 needs the computer for homework, so I need to close up for now. However, I will leave you with one last post for now ...
One morning, DD15 and I wanted a quick breakfast at Pop. At the place where you normally get ice cream at night, you can get "quick" breakfast items and trust me, it was SOOOOOOO much quicker than getting a big breakfast and waiting in those LONG lines to check out. We literally didn't wait at all. She got the fruit & yogurt parfait and I got a bagel.
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07003.jpg
Also, I found the picture of the first time DD15 and I went to Wolfgang Puck Cafe. She ordered the chicken fingers and subbed the normal side for mac & cheese (the best mac & cheese ever). She LOVED this meal!! I tried some and it was really good!! The chicken fingers were so perfectly seasoned, they didn't even need dipping sauce. :thumbsup2

DH and I had an "adults only" dinner at LeCellier. It was pouring rain when we ate here, so it was nice to get inside and relax. We eat here every trip and it is always delicious!!
We had a little wait to be seated and the cm's in the lobby played "20 questions" with us where we had to guess which Disney character they were thinking of. They did ones that were not obvious and there was only adults waiting for tables. We all had so much fun doing this, I actually was bummed when they seated us because we were having so much fun! :yay: It's these special "Disney" touches that make WDW so exceptional and keep us coming back so often.
True pixie dust!!!! pixiedust:
Virgin strawberry daquiri - YUMMY!

Shrimp cocktail appetizer ... Notice Mickey was kind enough to hold one chopstick. He is cute AND helpful!! :goodvibes
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/100_1393.jpg
The BREAD ... the best part of the meal ... imho! :cool1: I especially love the pretzel bread dipped in the cheese soup (not sure why we didn't take a picture of the cheese soup ... sorry!)
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/100_1392.jpg
New York strip steak with golden yukon potatoes and the sauce "on the side" (which was good because I didn't really like the sauce that much) ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/100_1397.jpg
Mushroom filet, which DH loved ... Mickey was trying to hide for this picture.
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/100_1396.jpg
For dessert ... one order of smores ... FUN AND YUMMY! A great combination!! :cheer2:

http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/100_1400.jpg
Our server was good and professional, but unfortunately not very friendly. We have had much better service here before.
This was supposed to be mine and DH's special dinner to celebrate my birthday alone (which was noted on the ressie and DH mentioned it to her). She never acknowledged my b-day at all. However, so many other places & cm's did special things for me throughout the week though, so it's all good.

Okay, please don't be sad, but this will be the last post for food from this trip. I did find a few pictures from our trip in April though, so if anyone is still interested, I will post those pictures next.
Here are pictures from our last meal of this 40 ddp credit trip in Aug./Sept. 2007. This was hands-down everyone's favorite meal of the trip.
It was lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern.
We began with 3 of us getting the fried cheese appetizer, which us "Wisconsinites" declared EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!
In the background is DD11's pirate punch with souvenior light-up tinkerbell, which is now hanging happily in our living room from my Precious Moments Christmas tree angel, which I adore. The cup is also re-useable. It's made of a hard plastic and DD11 has used it and we've put it in the dishwasher even, so it's sturdy.
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07455.jpg
DH got the Maryland crab cake appetizer. I thought he was CRAZY for not getting the fried cheese, but he really loved this appetizer and was happy with his choice. Plus, he helped me eat my fried cheese as I personally felt it was a HUGE appetizer and could easily be shared among several people.
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07457.jpg
For entrees, DD11 got the William Penn pasta, which she loved ... I don't even like pasta, but even I thought this looked AND smelled delicious ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07458.jpg
DD15 and I both got the cheddar cheese bacon burger. DH got the pilgrim's feast. DH and I did "halfsies" again as both meals looked SO good, we couldn't possibly settle for just one. ;)
Please notice Mickey on his "salt shaker" perch. :lmao:
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07459.jpg
The pilgrim feast is similar to what you get for dinner at LTT and just as YUMMY!!!
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07460.jpg
For dessert, DD11 and I got the chocolate liberation cake, which was actually warm chocolate lava cake with raspberry sauce and cherry ice cream. MAN OH MAN was this out of this world good!!!!! Even the strawberry that came with it was juicy and delicious!
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07463.jpg
DD15 got the Liberty Shortcake (berry shortcake) ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07461.jpg
DH had the butter griddled poundcake, which is served with warm pecan caramel sauce with vanilla bean ice cream. He declared this to be "FANTASTIC" :cheer2:
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07462.jpg
I also have to mention that we saw other tables with the LTT "melt in your mouth" roles and butter that we've had at dinner. We asked about them and our server said they are only served at lunch "by request" so we quickly "requested" some. Sorry we didn't take a picture, but if you've ever had them, you will know how special and delicious they are! :cool1:
We had never had lunch here before (only dinner a few times), but WE WILL BE BACK for lunch as it was spectacular! :woohoo:
We had the last lunch ADR (around 3:45) and so it wasn't super busy, but they were turning people with NO ADR's away. In fact, the man who wanted to check in right before me went into a tirade with the cm because he got this "free dining plan" and couldn't find anywhere to eat. She handled it very well and made some suggestions to him, but he was furious. I was glad we had an ADR.
When we left this meal, they were clearning out one side of the restaurant and prepping it for dinner.
OH ... I will have ONE more special picture from this trip's food coming up next. It's an all-time, favorite, "gotta have every trip" thing for me. I'm sure some of you will agree ...

I also thought you might enjoy a list of some of the 40 snacks we enjoyed on this trip. We didn't photograph most of them, because most of you know what a bag of chips or a box of donuts looks like already ...
Strawberry-banana smoothie
Tropical smoothie
Bag of cheetos
Chocolate chip supreme (ice cream)
Bag of doritos
Bag of sour gummy worms
Rice krispy treat (pictured in the previous post)
Bag of ruffles potato chips
Swirlpop (sucker)
Diet coke
Vanilla fudge cookie
Boxes of entemann's chocolate chip cookies
Popem's donuts and powdered donuts and chocolate donuts
Root beer float (Anandapur shop near Everest in AK)
Soft serve ice cream from same place
Tostitos chips and salsa
Fruit cup
Yogurt parfait
Ice cream sundaes at Everything Pop (pictured earlier and ranted & raved about - they were good!!)
Breadsticks from Pizzafari in AK (pictured earlier)
Frozen coke from Launching Pad in MK (we didn't get enough from Pop I guess)
Frozen lemonade
Mrs. Pott's ice cream during the Pirate & Princess party at MK
We also had the refillable mugs at Pop and got frozen coke in them whenever it was available (which was usually only in the mid-afternoon). It was a popular treat in HOT, HUMID August.

Since I'm not going to write a trip report, I thought I'd just share a few other miscellaneous pictures from this trip too.
Here's a favorite. Our "mousekeeper" at Pop was so sweet. Several times we were in the room when she cleaned and so we got to know her. On one of our last day's, she left this towel animal in our room (there were other smaller ones throughout the week, but this one was the BEST). Our girls named her "Jennifer."
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07400.jpg
We also got a few good shots of "Devine" at AK too. I just LOVE seeing her, she is fascinating!

http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07032.jpg
Also, when we were waiting for rope drop at AK, DD11 got chosen to open the "tips board" as a YOAMD prize and here she is doing it ...

AND ... one of the highlights of the trip was meeting Captain Jack at the Pirate & Princess party. We lined up about 6:15pm to see him. They began showings of him at 7pm. We were the second family to visit him that night. We were in line behind a couple who had just moved to WDW to be cm's and it was SOOOOOOO incredible talking to them as they are who DH and I want to be in about 20 years!!!

Well, that's all for today.
If anyone is interested, I would be happy to post a few dining pictures from our April trip and also a few non-food pictures from our one-day DisneyLAND trip last weekend (we were in CA for my best friend's wedding).
See you all tomorrow!

I love your dining review , we will be there Oct 4 /Oct 12 and will be having lunch @ LTT I wanted to know if the tinkerbell lightup Thingy was part of the drink or did you purchase that else where my DD age 10 would love that!
I hope those desserts are as good as they look:woohoo:
Yum yum how did you ever pick just one?????

The pirate punch was served at most of the sit down restaurants and it looked basically the same at all places. It is in honor of the Pirate & Princess parties, so I don't know if they'll still have it in October. I hope so for your dd's sake!!
It was $5.99 and we paid oop for it (and got charged $1.08 for an 18% gratituty for it too, which I didn't realize until just now looking at the receipt :sad1: ).

DH says if you ask for anything oop to be a separate bill, you can see it easier if they charge you for a tip. You can ask for that to be removed.

These are from our April 2007 trip (Easter week). It was DD's 15th birthday :cake: party: :bday:
We celebrated at Whispering Canyon Cafe. I had lots of surprises in store for her and WCC even had a few of their own. pixiedust:
I had ordered a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache icing ...

Here's an "inside" view ~ marble cake with chocolate buttercream filling ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/DSCI0517.jpg
We had also worked with Lindsey from the dis (fairy_tale_bride) who had just been hired to help make surprises like this come true. She was AWESOME to work with and this gift basket was SO COOL! DD15 loved it!!!!!
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/DSCI0504-1.jpg
It was inside a pirate chest and had a POTC talking bank (which we have SO much fun putting money into), a POTC beach towel (sweet Lindsey even threw in an extra one for FREE for dd11), a beanie-baby Eeyore (DD's favorite character) and a signed picture from Mickey & Minnie (we wanted Captain Jack, but they couldn't do that). It also came with the balloons. She was super surprised!!
Imagine our surprise then when we thought we were all done and here comes a cop ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/DSCI0505-1.jpg
He wrote DD15 a ticket and put her in jail! :scared1:

http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/DSCI0506.jpg
I hope she's not that smiley :) if they ever put her in "real" jail. :rotfl:
Then they made DH "bail her out" by riding a stick pony around the restaurant singing Happy Birthday to her. Sorry no pictures of that ... I think we were laughing too hard to remember to photograph that moment in time. :lmao:

Less than 2 weeks after our WDW trip, we had to go to California. My best friend of 35 years was getting married in San Diego. She wanted to get married on Labor Day weekend, but because we couldn't change our Disney trip, she settled for Sept. 15.
We literally only had one "free" day after the wedding before we had to get back so the girls wouldn't miss SO much school right after it had just begun.
So what would any diser do with 1 day in So. California??? Duh ~ go to Disneyland!!!
It was a whirlwind trip ... only one day ~ Sat. Sept. 16 and we used our WDW park hopper non-expiry tickets, so we did park hop from California Adventure to Disneyland.
Here are some highlights of the day in pictures ...
The castle at DL is SOOOOO much smaller than WDW. It was adorable!
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/california145.jpg
Paradise Pier at DCA ... California Screamin' was my favorite ride of the day (we rode it 3 times! - no waits!!) ...

This ferris wheel on Paradise Pier was awesome!!! :cool1: :thumbsup2
Funny story though ~ we went with some friends and you could choose to go on the "moving" or "non-moving" cars. My friend gets "ride sick" very easily, but we thought "hey, it's a ferris wheel, how bad can it be?" WRONG! :scared1:
We chose the moving cars and the first thing she noticed after we got "locked inside" was barf bags. She even asked "why in the world would they need these?" :confused3
Unfortunately, she found out! She did NOT love this ride!!!
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/california156.jpg
You can also kind of see the "mailboomer" ride on the right. DH and DD15 loved this ride and there was literally NO wait for it all day, so they went on it more times than I can count. I went on it once and they put a "shield" in front of you. We thought it was for "ride sickness" but asked and found out it was for noise control. Same thing with the "tubes" on California Screamin'. Apparently with so many hotels so close by, noise is a real issue at DL. Interesting, huh?

:lmao: that story is too funny...when we went back to California in 2004 on vacation my best friend took the day off work and met us at Disneyland with her 2 kids...At California Adventure we also went on the ferris wheel... onli I am the one with motion sickness, but ferris wheels don't usually bother me:rolleyes1 can you see where this is going:lmao: well we too picked the moving one:rolleyes1 my husband said "oh great they have barf bags, this isn't going to be good"
well I did fine until we had to stop so they could load more on to the next seat... I guess I turned green:sick: because my husband said 'do you need to get off" I just nodded, afraid to open my mouth:goodvibes so he hollered down to the CM and they started the wheel and brought us all the way back around... when they opened the door I got out in a hurry but I had 4 (yes all 4) people at my heels:lmao: :lmao: they couldn't get off fast enough either:lmao: I didn't get sick but when the CM asked if we would like to go on a non-moving car I just smiled and said no thanks... come to think of it none of the others got back on either:lmao:

I can't help but giggle at your Mickey - I just keep thinking "And now, here's Nickey, he'll be filling in for Vana"... :rotfl:
Now introducing WCC at the WL. This is an all-time family favorite of ours.
DD11 realized she loves these WDW sticky wings. She got them several times during our trip and loved them ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07367.jpg
I had the nachos, which is now called the "Western Chips". WCC has recently changed their menu and the nachos have changed significantly. I didn't think I'd like the "new" nachos, but they were in fact really, really tasty! Change can be good! :scared:
The sauce accompanying the chips is a spicy cheese sauce which was YUMMY!!!
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07366.jpg
DD15 tried the new cheese & sausage (and pickle :upsidedow) plate. This was also delicious!
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07365.jpg
And of course, the always succulent and fabulous WCC cornbread!!! LOVE this stuff!!! Apparently Mickey loves it also. See the way he is "eyeing" it!
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07363.jpg
Us 3 ladies had the "all you can drink" milkshakes ... vanilla and chocolate. And DH "winked" at our server and asked for a "LARGE" diet coke and this is what he got (and wanted) ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07356.jpg
For entrees, we had the new shrimp dinner ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07374.jpg
which DH said was "okay." It was hard to peel them all. It took FOREVER too.
I had the ribs dinner, which I didn't like (too fatty and not "barbeque" tasting enough for me) ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07369.jpg
DD15 got the chicken pasta, which is her standard favorite at WCC ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07368.jpg
DD11 got the broasted chicken dinner with fries instead of whatever potatoes usually come with it ... this is her standard favorite at WCC ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07370.jpg
My standard favorite here USED to be the steak. I missed it this time around as it's no longer on the menu.
And last, but certainly NOT least is dessert! Of course by this time, we were ready to waddle out of WL, but we didn't say "NO" to dessert. We're not idiots!! ;)
The banana dustbowl ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07388.jpg
The smores cheesecake ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07387.jpg
The carmel apple pie ala mode ...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07386.jpg
Of course we cannot forget the oodles of ketchup bottles that we had at our table for like 2.2 seconds (the minute we got them, they were summoned away by another table). We all grabbed some before they left though ... I love this about WCC! Also because it was my birthday, they made my dd11 ride the pony around the restaurant singing "happy birthday to Mom" - that was awesome!!! :thumbsup2
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m73/isomsluvdisney/floridaaugust07378.jpg

Excellent pics from Disneyland - did I read rightly that you used your WDW tickets there :confused3
You did read rightly! We did indeed use our WDW non-expiry tickets at Disneyland. I had emailed Disney prior to our trip to see if it was okay as I had heard others here say they did it. I got an email back saying it was okay and to just take my tickets right to the ticket line (where you put them in the machine at the main gate).
So we did this and the cm barely spoke to us and told us to "wait there" and pointed to a spot. Well, we waited :rolleyes1 and waited :rolleyes1 and then waited some more (only about 10 min. I guess, but we were anxious to get inside so it seemed longer). Finally we asked him what we were waiting for. I think his answer was "Yolanda." OHHHHHH we said, of course - Yolanda!
What??????? :confused3
So Yolanda comes and grabs our tickets and leaves. We yell after her "Yolanda" and she turns back. We ask her to explain what we're waiting for and where she's going. She says she has to exchange our tickets for a one day, park hopping DL ticket and she will also check how many days are left on our WDW tickets for us. This is nice, but we wish we didn't have to chase her down to get some answers as to what all the waiting was for.
So, we are now waiting for Yolanda to come back. And we waited :rolleyes1 and waited :rolleyes1 and waited some more (okay, again, it was only like 10 min. but again, watching everyone else run through the turnstiles and go on to have fun made it hard to wait that long).
So after about 20 min. total and us missing the park opening (we did arrive 1 hour early and with the horrible parking situation there and then all this waiting, we finally got into the park about 9:30am when it opened at 9am and we arrived at shortly before 8am!!).
It was worth it though to be able to use WDW tickets as it saved us a TON of money for our family of 4. However, if you do this - be aware - it involves a lot of patience AND waiting!! :rolleyes1

WOW!! I just want to thank you so much for this fabulous dining report!! :thumbsup2 Holy Moly am I hungry now!! So many pictures of sooooooo many things I want to try when I get there..... I don't know where to start.
The only fear I have is that my fiance will not be 'astute' in spending his (our) Snack Credits wisely. I'm afraid he'll want to use all of his Snack Credits on bottles of water and bags of Doritos. I know the best places to use the snack credits is at Goofy's by the looks of things!!!! I'm just drooling, and oh so hungry now!! Unfortunately i'm on a low carb diet but that is OVER when we get to WDW on 10/6!!!

He wrote DD15 a ticket and put her in jail! :scared1:

I hope she's not that smiley :) if they ever put her in "real" jail. :rotfl:
Then they made DH "bail her out" by riding a stick pony around the restaurant singing Happy Birthday to her. Sorry no pictures of that ... I think we were laughing too hard to remember to photograph that moment in time. :lmao:
That looks like so much fun. Now the cop giving her the sitation was too funny. Was he set up by fairy tale bride, or did WCC set that up when you ordered the cake. I think my son would absolutely love that when we have his birthday dinner there next year.

We had also worked with Lindsey from the dis (fairy_tale_bride) who had just been hired to help make surprises like this come true. She was AWESOME to work with and this gift basket was SO COOL! DD15 loved it!!!!!
You know, I have NO idea how the cop thing got set up. It was just one of those cool surprises. It was really funny and so cool! I have to admit though when I first saw him, I did get that nervous feeling in my stomach for a second, like what did we do? Then, it was just pure fun.
You could probably ask the manager or call ahead and see about it.
Yes, Lindsey is fantastic!!! I will certainly work with her again and would HIGHLY recommend contacting her for a special surprise.

Thanks so much for the quick reply. I must say I really enjoyed your dining report.
